After wearing these on several hikes the right shoe became so uncomfortable I had to stop wearing them. There is an odd hump on the outer edge of the insole that causes serious pain and cramping in my foot. I am now wearing my old Keens that have always been good though now wearing out. If I could return the Targhees I would. Keen used to be reliable and comfortable. No More.

KEEN seems to have changed their contract manufacturer. I have worn many pairs of these shoes over the years. The fit is good but this pair is awful. There is a bunch of extra material in the tongue which creates a painful compression on the top of my foot. On top of the pain, the shoes squeak. Yes, squeak on every step. I'm going to give them one more hike. If the material hasn't softened and the squeak is away, these shoes are heading back to Zappos.

joined zappos vip-received email with nextdayshipping banner. when ordered, deliv date was 13 days away. chatted with agent & chg'd to 5 days. on 4th day still said processing & chat agent said no worries will deliver tomorrow. 9 days later still says processing. super deceitful, will never order from zappos again. have cancelled order.

I am not sure what has happened to Keen quality. I have worn Keen’s exclusively for years. This is my second return in the last year. Normal wear- very little hard trail use etc.... Seams coming apart and sole has separated. Not that comfortable when I first put them on but hoped they would “break-in” into a comfortable work shoe. Zappos was excellent addressing my last complaint—5 stars on their business and customer service model. 1 star to whatever had happened to the Keen brand — maybe a change in materials— I don’t know. I have always worn the Bison Newport leather sandal— I just received a new pair as a gift—— that will be the true test- I think I have had at least 7 pairs so if they are sub-par I guess it’s time for the “it’s YOU not me talk” — time to break up for good. Lol

Recently purchased the T 3 oxford. Size 11 perfect. However the T 3 waterproof size 11 to small and to tight. Will return the water proof pair.
