Because of the lack of reviews on the Targhee 3 and the advise about ordering a half size larger on the Targhee 2, I ordered both a 9M and a 9.5M. I usually wear a 9M (D or maybe E). The 9.5 was to big. Plus the arch support was too agressive on the outside part of my foot. It had a hill on there. A change of inserts did not completely solve the problem. The 9's fit very well but had the same lump, slightly bigger, on the bottom of my foot opposite my arch. Too narrow in the arch for me. Too bad they did not have a 9W. The shoes otherwise were great. Both were returned effortlessly. Thanks Zappos!

Absolutely love these Keens! First pair I've purchased and they were fantastic right out of the box. I've worn Merrells and North Face primarily, but these have vaulted to the top of my favorites. Love the width and overall feel of the shoes. Have taken them out on several extended walks and they've been great. Highly recommend trying these out.

This is my second pair, used for daily dog walks of 3-5 miles in all kinds of weather. The big toe box on these and similar Keen models contributes to comfy fit for me.

I had to exchange these shoes originally for a bigger size. I normally wear a 12, but in this case I had to exchange for a 13. So in my case the shoes run small. But after receiving the 13’s, they are like walking on a cloud. The longer I wear them, the more comfortable they are.

I have worn over the ankle work boots for at least the last 20 years and I was a worried about the support. Very happy with the change to these shoes and would highly recommend them. Very comfortable right out of the box!

These shoes are not very wide even though they are marked D width. I am returning.

I had to return the size 12 and order a size 13. The comfort and quality are great!! We walk everyday, and my husband cant say enough how comfortable these shoes are, he absolutely loves them!!

I have flat feet and suffer from Achilles tendinitis. Due to those issues I wear custom wear orthotics. I tried wearing these shoes without the orthotics in the shoe. The support and comfort are perfect and I did not miss the othotics at all. In fact, when I wear these shoes I don't bother putting in the orthotics.

This is a great all-around shoe. My husband is a grocery store manager and wore them to work. He says they were a little stiff the first day but he really likes them and plans to wear them hiking as well. They have a very grippy, non-slip sole, are quite sturdy, well-made and they look great!

Great fit & exactly what I need for daily walks. Great arch support.

Excellent. I have ordered Keen size 12 for over a decade and never had an issue with the fit.

Felt larger than usual having always ordered the same size Not sure what’s up with that I’m using a thicker sock and will tighten laces more as the shoe loosens up

I've had these for over a year and love them. They take heavier socks and provide support.

These are great shoes. Comfortable and great support in the arch and ankles.

Shoes felt great when I put them on. They felt sturdy and will hold up in my work environment. I am on my feet a lot and I do believe these will hold up and do the job.

I bought these shoes for my husband. We walk everyday in cold winter weather. He loves them, says they are the Mose comfortable pair of shoes he has had, and he says they make him feel like he is walking on a cloud. They are well worth the money !!

They were a gift for my husband who wears a 10.5 and they fit perfectly. He likes the style, functionality and comfort a lot too.

One of my favorite hiking shoes. This particular color is much more brown than the picture on the website led on so will be exchanging it for a different color.

I am a Keene guy. My previous pair lasted five years. This time I went for the waterproof version. It took a few tries to get the right size... but as always .. customer service was fantastic. I walk my dogs for an hour each morning and these shoes have been perfect.

Nice shoes. I need a wide toe box. These were a bit narrower than my H2s but still good. Nice looking shoe. I have not yet tested them for waterproofing.

I had tried two different styles of Merrell Moab waterproof hiking shoes before finding this one. I take a wide width. The Merrells fit in length and width, but after wearing them around the house, they hurt the bottoms of my feet. These fit perfectly, were easy to break in around the house and have been extremely comfortable all the way around. The unfortunate thing is that it looks like Keen has discontinued the Targhee iIIn favor of the Targhee II, which do not come in wide.

Should have ordered these Keens in the first place. Instead, I ordered Merrill Moab 2 waterproof. They looked nice and fit everywhere but the bottoms. After wearing the Merrills around inside the house, they hurt the soles of my feet. The Keens have been great almost straight out of the box..

Awesome all around shoes for anyone, but especially somebody with a history of foot problems!

These were replacements for an earlier similar model, so I knew what to order and exactly what I wanted. Keens run a touch small commonly. These are going to be my main hiking shoes for low to medium impact trails.
