My priority was having a waterproof shoe for when I take my dog out for walks in the early morning. These hiking shoes were comfortable on our first 3-mile trek, I even forgot I was wearing new shoes! Good price also!

These are very attractive, comfortable, and fit well! I ordered my normal size for an athletic sneaker, and I have plenty of room of warm socks!

I really liked these shoes. Fit was true to size. Style great. Feet vary as to what is comfortable and not. For whatever reason my arch just didn't feel good in theses shoes. Not the manufacturers problem, it just wasn't a match for me. I wish they fit for I really liked everything else about these shoes.

I've been wearing Columbia Peak freaks for several years and they've been discontinued, so I had to find something that was supportive since I have foot issues. These Redmond v2 shoes fit the bill. I ordered both the waterproof and not water proof and they seem to fit the same. They have good support. I wore a 7 B in the peak freak but had to reorder this in a 6.5 which fits great. My foot is on the wider side and they are wide emough in the toe box when the laces are loosened. They do look quite "hiking shoe-ish' but at this point in my life, comfort and support are more important. I would recommend these. In my opinion the gray with the blue edging is the most feminine but the others are fine too.

The toe box is wide enough and the materials are sturdy and quality -- but the sides and back of the shoe are too high up, rubbing the ankles on the sides and back. I could tell they would cause blisters with thin socks. The sides are too hard, seems like most of the current running shoes have this dip in the style. I would keep these if it weren't for that issue, am sorry to have to return them.

Fellow gardeners: If you need a flexible, waterproof, comfortable shoe to wear in the soil add this to your cart. I ordered one size larger than usual. The fit was instantly good, no need to break them in. I ordered a second pair a month later, just to be able to switch out during the intense days of gardening season. It follows the bend in one's foot while weeding. Great choice these shoes. Could these be made with no leather? I'd buy more.

Super comfy. I live in CO and hiking is a daily occurrence. These are light and comfortable and offer great support and grip. I wish they came in black.

This is a comfortable shoe, that fit as expected and offers good support. I selected this shoe because I need a waterproof walker, and it was a good price point. On Sunday I walked for an hour in the rain, and my feet felt wonderfully dry and warm. I expected to leave a glowing review, however when I took the shoes off, the socks were wet at the big toe knuckle (bunion area). So that was a disappointment, but considering that my feet were warm and felt dry regardless, I still give these shoes a thumbs up as an economical all around walker.

These are very good quality for the money. I am an intermittent hiker so not willing to spend $150+ on hiking shoes. These are great and from an American company

I started with a 9 1/2 on this shoe, which was too short. I re-ordered a 10, and it doesn't feel like it is any longer than the 9 1/2, in fact it may be even shorter because I didn't have the Spenco insole inside the shoe on the 10 and I did when I tried on the 9 1/2. The manufacturing process must not be consistent, because I noted that in some of the earlier reviews the buyers found the shoe to be very small while others claimed the shoe was larger than the stated size. The size 10 I received also appeared to be a different color than the light brown color shown in the description. My size 10 was closer to a moss green. The size 9 1/2 more accurately matched the color of the shoes shown in the description.

I was astonished at how poorly made this shoe was. I wear a 71/2, ordered an 8, and couldn't get my foot in.

I ordered 2 pairs of Columbia hiking boots, hoping that 1 would fit. All of the other reviews are correct - both were too small in terms of length. Since I wear a 12, I cannot order a larger size. Disappointing.

This shoe has arch support at all. It is very stiff. It seems to run a bit long and wide. The insole is completely flat and it is water tight but not breathable. My feet hurt wearing them.

I’ve worn these hikers for many years. Columbia stopped making/selling them so I found them on Zappos. I’m an avid hiker and good shoes is essential. These are roomy without being wide. The grip/traction is superb on the rocks while hiking and they are actually WATERPROOF! I’ve walked through many muddy puddles and the water and dirt just beads off. I’m normally a 7.5-8 but got these in an 8.5 to west with thick hiking socks. I have high arches and most hiking shoes don’t have arch support so I just put my own insoles inside. Highly recommend while they last in this style

Great style and fit. I had a walking Columbia shoe and loved it. This hiking one did not disappoint. .

I have wide feet so I was a bit worried they wouldn't fit, but they fit great; even good room in the toes. And the purple is really pretty.

These are my second pair … bought the first pair for 10 days in Ireland in November (before covid!) and loved them. The first are now wearing out a bit after two years of heavy wear and tear. So now a purple pair!! Yay!!

i have a pair of Columbia hiking shoes that are size 8. They are old and I was trying to replace them. the ones I tried don't have the same feel as my old ones. Sizing seems different. I will stick with my old ones for the time being. Otherwise, they are great shoes.

Love these for all day landscape work and the fact that they really are waterproof. I usually take a 7 1/2 and got an 8 so I could add an orthotic. Comfortable from the minute I put them on and that’s a rarity! I have a narrow foot and these a touch wide, but not objectionable. Highly recommend.

I fluctuate between an 11.5 and a 12. These fit perfectly and I have toe room. Would prefer them a little lighter. This is my first pair of hiking shoes, so did not know what to expect.

The shoes fit when I tried them on upon arrival. I wore them for a quick 1 mile walk that day and they were fine. Today I walked longer and got a blister in the back of the shoe. I think they just need to be broken in. Arrived as stated. Looks just like I expected. Performance walking on rocks is great. I’m really hoping/expecting they will loosen up with a couple more walks.
