Comfortable right out of the box. Great light hiker or around the house chores boot!

Felt great right out of the box. Wore them on a two week hiking trip to Arizona and California. Very comfortable and dry. Traction was very good on rocky surfaces. Runs about a half size small. Very satisfied.

Comfortable, great fit, used same size as my Moab sneakers. Took into the Rockies for early September archery elk hunt. Super comfortable with only wearing two days before for a break in, dozen miles each day. No issues.

Purchased these for work dealing with outside property and roofs and so far they are incredible. Comfortable on most all surfaces including concrete and hard floors. Waterproof and form fitting

I bought my first pair of Moab series a years ago. Was disappointed and agreed with other reviewers (that I didn't head the warning) that most of the Moab series are mostly "water-resistant". A stroll through early morning wet grass and socks and feet were soaked within a few minutes. This is due to most of the Moab series having what appears to be a mesh material in between the leather strapping that wraps the sides and part of the top of the shoe. I like the look this design gives and the support it creates for wide feet that I have. As for water proofing... Fail every time. Not sure how Merrell keeps most of the Moab series advertised as "waterproof". Now for the Moab 2 Prime all leather. The mesh was replaced with full leather strips all the way around. THIS makes it a sealed leather shoe/boot IMO. I have walked through puddles and even stood in some and my feet remained dry. Does this make the shoe not so breathable? Yes, and that is the point of an actual "waterproof" footwear. I will say being a veteran and having worn a lot of boots. Even though it's all leather with little breathability. My feet do not sweat in these boots like they do in others. I think this is due to the outstanding cushioning that makes up the inner side walls of the boot. Very comfortable and I wear them a vast majority of the time as a person who has a career in the water and wastewater industry. However, when the going gets tuff, I switch to rubber boots with steel toe. As is a reasonable act to do. The Moab 2 "all leather" is my everyday go to work/hiking boot for legitimate 'WATERPROOF" footwear. Very durable and comfortable boot. Most definitely waterproof.

Excellent boot! I have worn the Moab 2 for about 7 years. When noticed the all leather was available I ordered and so far glad I did. I have a wide foot with normal with heel and the boot fits perfect. Time will tell if these boots hold up as well as the regular Moab 2

Comfortable, sturdy, wide footbed, and great soles.

Purchased this item 9 days before heading out to Mt. Adams. Made it up to Lunch Counter no issues. Threw some crampons on these boots fully expecting that I ruined them, but to my surprise they with stood the trial. The rubber around the toe and heel are still intact. Looking forward to Mt. St. Helens in a couple of weeks.

It's a good product for feet that prefer firm side support so you don't have to overly crank the laces. Middies are preferred for rocky, rootie trails, giving proper stability to those precious ankles, but they are flexible enough in the sole for comfort on flat trails too. Gortexed to stay dry, and I sprayed them with Permetherin so get lost you ticks! I used to be a runner, but at age 75 now hiking is my domain and these are perfect for feet with literally thousands of miles on them. Thanks, Merrell, please don't change them!

Fit true to size. Is completely waterproof. The tread is aggressive without being slippery on wet surfaces. My feet didn't get too hot in them, which is one thing I worried about wearing waterproof black boots in the 80 degree range.

Being very flat footed and dealing with neuropathy as a result, finding shoes or boots that I can stand in for hours has been so difficult. Merrell and Salomon came to be by recommendation from my brother who has spent most of his adult life in combat zones and rough terrain in the Middle East. I tried Salomon first and and hated them. I then found these boots and another pair on this same platform and literally can not be happier. They are very comfortable and very waterproof. I stand for many hours with no problems. My only complaint is these do make your feet sweat which has never been an issue for me before. But I can live with that for the comfort. Also thank you to Merrell for being supportive of public servants and the military.

I've had mine for about 9 months. I originally bought them because I liked the way they looked but were so comfortable I turned them into my work boots! (I do commercial HVAC). They have held up great, still just as comfortable when I got them and just so you know I'm rough on boots. Oh and I also use them for hiking and camping.. not due yet but will be getting another pair soon and trying some more of their boots and shoes.

It is the most comfortable shoe I've worn. I have bad feet and this boot remains on the top of my list for all-day wearing comfort.

I have been wearing Merrell boots for nearly 25 years, switched to them in my 20's. Love the Moab, had been wearing the fabric versions and decided to try the full leather version this year.

Great fit! rugged look but comfortable like a sneaker. Keeps you dry and walking on the toughest trail. I highly recommend these for hiking or just running errands.

2022-01 Wore in Maine while spending two weeks in the cold and snow. Definitely waterproof; sufficiently warm (with heavy socks) to handle getting around and taking some mile long walks. Comfortable.

It's funny. I look at these boots and there's none available in practically all sizes, and then I look at the best sellers (not as stylish as these may I add), and they're available in every size. I own a pair that my sister got me for Christmas and I love them. Tried them on but not wearing till the better weather. Had Merrell's in the past already. Awesome job with these Merrell.

I was a Scout leader for 9 years (raised 2 Eagles). Before that, I lived in Colorado, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, and Idaho for a total of 30+ years. I've worn Merrell Moabs forever and love their great out-of-the-box fit. When the Prime version came available, I got a pair - and they're amazing. They felt great from the start and I think they offer more support than the regular Moab2 boots. Plus they're classier being all leather. I wear them most of the year, even through Idaho winters, and my feet are always comfy. Get some!
