Again another perfect purchase for Merrell boots. These are super comfortable and durable in all conditions. Clean up easily and keep my feet warm and dry. I had something similar to these boots from Merrell of course for about 10 plus years and excited to get 10 or more years out of these boots.

A deceptively warm and comfortable boot. True to size and width. The "clincher" upper eyelets are a nice touch!

Right out of the box (did not have time to break in new boots) and hard into 4 days of snowshoeing with no problems. Boots were very comfortable, warm, and offered decent ankle support.

This is my first pair of merrell boots. I figured I'd try these after not being able to find all the features I wanted in a pair of boots from my regular go-to show company.
Waterproof, insulated, and sole for ice (after taking a spill in the parking lot)
I'm gonna coat these in the standard silicone boot oil I use and see how much milage I can get out of them.

These boots are amazing. They feel great right out of the box. They are really warm and just feel "right". There is plenty of traction on snow and dirt.
They are pretty tall and the two speed lace holes at the top really help.

So far, so good. Have only worn these a couple of times. Non-slip on snowy driveway, and walking around icy pavement in the neighborhood. Very warm without being too sweaty. A good fit for my size 12.5M feet with normal socks. Haven't tried them with my thicker hiking socks yet, but there's enough room in the toe box to accommodate them.

I wanted something that was good on slick, snowy pavement. These soles are great.

I bought a half size up and I can wear a heavy pair of socks and still wiggle my toes. They are not as warm as a pair of heavily insulated winter boots, but still good for hiking shoes, I wore them for about two hours in 15 degree weather and my toes were getting cold at the end. They are comfortable and the heel does not slip. I have worn them snowblowing and snowshoeing in 2 feet of snow. I have worn them in light rain in long wet grass. No leaks so far- my feet have been perfectly dry. They are great boots so far - been wearing them 1 month, mostly walking the dog in cold and wet weather.

These things are super warm and have excellent arch support, which really helps my back stay loose while I'm working outside in them. They're obviously not tall enough to handle deep snow, but that's not their purpose. They need a leather treatment to help ensure maximum waterproofing, and I ordered up a half size compared to what my last pair of Merrell hiking boots.

I live in North Idaho and bought these boots to wear winter hiking and snowshoeing. I've used them about ten times now, mostly on snow. They are comfortable out of the box, have kept my feet comfortably warm and dry and the outsole has provided great traction. I definitely love the boot so far and expect to wear them a lot November - April.

These are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. First time wearing them i walked 10km in the bush up and down hills through sand areas and some water.
Recently used hem for a deer hunt in -15 to -20 C temps feet were warm and dry
would reccomend these to anyone who wants a comfortable well made boot

The Thermo Glacier is a very sturdy waterproof Winter boot. I love the feel, as it is not heavy or bulky, it feels very natural to walk and hike with it.
This is a world class product.

Warm & comfortable. Very nice boots. I bought them a half size larger than I normally take to accommodate winter Sox. It remains to be seen how they will hold up, but I'm a happy camper now.

This boot is very sturdy but relatively lightweight for it's level of supportiveness. Because of the materials used, it has more of a robust workboot feel while still bridging the gap nicely as a pseudo-speed hiker. They're not as heavy as a workboot and not as whimpy as a full synthetic hiker. It is a true winter boot as far as warmth goes but it's not going to be the ideal choice in 6 inches of snow or more because it's not the tallest boot out there. The vibram winter sole is very grippy and will be a trusted friend on ice, snow, mud, and loose gravel.
I usually wear a 13 but a 12 fits me perfectly. I envision this boot being very useful in the spring and fall not just the winter. I love the styling and well thought out usage of rubber in key areas to prevent water intrusion.

Goes without saying - these are very warm, and have excellent grip in the cold wet conditions.
But what pleased me the most was the exceptional comfort - right out of the box.
I am quite particular when looking for that perfect fit and perfect balance between comfort and stability. This boot meets the need for the late fall and winter months.
I ended up getting both colors.
THANK YOU MERRELL - for offering a size 15 in just about all of you footwear. Keeps me coming back, season after season.

Truly lightweight and great fit. I had in the past some winter boots that were bulky. Little did I know that were better boots for hiking and casual at the same time in the market. If you want to have the best pair of boots for winter and hiking, look no further. This is the one. They are even so light that you cannot believe it. I cannot wait to get another color.
The features advertised are just true.
Thanks Merrell for your creation and customer service!
