I love the fit of these shorts. I use then for fishing and love them. They are comfortable and lightweight.

Super light-weight, cool and stretchy material, with a very adjustable waistband. Fantastic feel, and not too short like so many other women's shorts in stores.

Great for hiking and walking in warm weather. Holds up well scrambling over rocks.

They are super comfortable- I bought 2 more pairs I liked them so much!

I was looking for a comfortable, cool capris length short to wear to the gym. I got that and they look ok for after the gym.

I got the blue, I really like the color. I hate when things only come in black or tan.

I had previously ordered this in a 1X, and I thought the fit was good until I ordered a size 16. This is a real size 16, and not a Columbia 16 (which always run small). They stretch while holding their form. Your butt looks good in them. They repel water! Dry quickly! Great pair of shorts. I use for MTB (biking) with my padded layer underneath.

These are truly the best shorts I have ever owned. They fit very well, have a little give in them, and look great. I get many compliments on them. I have now purchased about every color and also the shorter ones. A must have for summer.

i fell in love with my first pair of these shorts, had to get 2 more in different colors! Perfect fit, and very light weight. Washes and dries beautifully. Definitely recommend this product!

If I break a sweat wearing them, no one knows because they seem to dry before they ever get wet! They are easy to pack, easy to wear and versatile. T-shirts or tops, either work with them. This is the third pair (black) that I have purchased. They are good looking , flattering, extremely comfortable, wash wonderfully and my older pairs (grey and green) over a year old , still look like new. I saw someone wearing them, admired them and inquired where she got them. She had been given them in Navy as a part of a uniform. I took the info from her and was thrilled to find them online. They are my go to shorts for all purposes.

I am so pleased with the quality of Columbia clothing. The shorts I ordered were just the right length I have been looking for. The fabric also serves me well.

Can't wear shirt above saggy knees. These are perfect, feel great on! Light as a feather too

I Love these shorts. I have purchased 3 different colors. I am all about comfort! The price is amazing as well. I would highly recommend them for any outdoor activity and just all around casual shorts!

Bought Anytime capris and loved them so when I found shorts I ordered them too. The quick drying fabric is perfect for everyday or at the pool. I wear these shorts with my swim suit for better coverage. Love them!

Bought two pr and loved them so bought two more. As a result of reading the reviews I bought a size larger. I usually wear columbia 14 but bought a 16 for a looser fit. Because I am short waisted it was a natural waist for me. I could cinch the waist and it fit but gave me more room in seat area for a dressier look. The length is great. Just covered my knee but when I sit down it uncovers the knee but does not show much leg. I am 5' 3". Material soft and stretchy so they are very comfortable.

Tried these after my sister recommended. LOVE, LOVE them. Soft, stretchy, true to size, and long enough. Back is high enough to not show your hiney when bending or sitting. And they block the sun and quick to dry. I'm definitely getting more! I normally wear a 10 and got these in 10 and they fit perfect.

Thank you, Columbia, for making long shorts for women that are flattering and fit well. My days of struggling with ill-fitting men's shorts are over. I wore these shorts every day last summer, and I look forward to wearing the new pairs I just received once it is warm enough. I was particularly pleased to see that the fit and sizing of this year's shorts are the same as they were last year. I hate finding a product I love only to have it needlessly change every year. Columbia knows not to fix what isn't broken. Kudos to them.
