I have taken these long shorts on two trips and they are fantastic. They're light and comfortable and they drip dry overnight. No need for ironing! I also wear them when I'm doing errands and want something a bit more dignified than regular shorts. I've included a picture of me in Belem, Brazil where I traveled for work. In a spot of sightseeing, I met a group of school girls who wanted a picture with the American 'tourist.'

Overall: Absolutely love these shorts. Would get them in many colors if available. At 5'2" height the shorts fall just below knee standing, and just above knee sitting. Side vents are same height as hem and so corners of side vents don't poke or flip out. Waist hits right at belly button, back rise gives full coverage over generous curves even when sitting. Easy stretch of material has great recovery, and allows great comfort whether fast-stepping, lunging, squatting, sitting, and even in yoga poses. Fabric is breathable and cool; not too sheer, yet light; not revealing of inner garment. They are amphibious, and can go from beach to lunch (just brush off dried sea salt. They look great with a swim top or a casual top. Love the mesh pockets, and side seaming gives a slimming effect. Only two 'cons' for me: would have loved slightly deeper side pockets (with fingers extended, pocket only covers just above finger bridge),, back pocket covers hand to wrist but Velcro closure can't hold the pocket closed.

I just bought my 3rd pair of these "Long Shorts". Needless to say, I love them! I am just under 5' tall so capris are generally longer than I like, but these long shorts hit me at the bottom of the knee, but long enough to cover my "old-age" thighs. They are sleek looking and fit perfectly. And because I live in south Florida, I love the light weight. Lastly, they wash & wear, time after time. They are definitely my go-to's for traveling, hiking, or any occasion.

I have a few shorts that I've had shorten to 7-9" because I'm short and want something longer than 5" (no back pocket) and 13" which just covers my knees. The waist is a little bit tight, but I'm straight. Once I pull them on while snapped and tied, the waist then fits.

I needed some very modest shorts for an upcoming trip and gave these a try. Then, I ordered them in every possible color! They are SO comfortable, they look nice for casual wear or can be dressed up! They wash like a dream and always look nice. If they wrinkle in my drawer, the wrinkles quickly fall out once i put them on. They pack down very small and take up very little room in my suitcase! Love these!

Perfect black shorts for summer. Lightweight and quick drying. I like this length better than the capris which I bought in the blue color. I only gave the capris 4 stars because the fabric is very wrinkly. The wrinkles release better on these because they are shorter. I am more apple than pear and these fit perfectly.

I love these shorts and bought a second pair. They work equally well for a summer night out on the town as they do for a hike along the trails. They're light, durable, comfortable for activity, and stylish. And, they fit true to size.

Sooo comfortable. I also have the capris and both are great for activities. They are lightweight, stretch nicely and feel good next to the skin. Once you try them, you will want several pair!

I love these shorts! I bought two and then bought a few more in different colors because I love them so much. I was looking for longer shorts which are hard to find. These are the perfect length and super comfortable and stylish. They run slightly big, but not big enough for me to drop down a size. They are durable and dry quickly. They are also cool which is perfect for summer. I wear them everyday but they will be great for traveling too!

These shorts are so nice! Comfortable. Great fitting. Excellent quality! Very flattering! Excellent fit! I only wish I would have bought more then one pair!

No ironing and very comfortable. These pants can be worn most any where because of length. I have bought 6 pairs for myself and 10 pairs for friends. They are true to size but do stretch after wear. So if undecided on size I would go smaller.

The fit of these shorts are excellent. I love the length and the style. They are very versatile and comfortable.

The fabric dries quickly, keeps its shape and color, and is cool and light. The length is perfect for travel, hiking, and is appropriate in any situation. These are my "go to" shorts in summer, so I just ordered my third pair!

The only shorts I own or will wear. The most comfortable shorts. I swear by these! They are light weight, dry super fast and the Omni shield works great! I have turned so many of my friends on to these shorts and they also agree. TRULY THE ONLY SHORTS I WEAR and the only shorts I will continue to wear. Do yourself a favor and feel like you have nothing on and get yourself a pair. I own every color twice!!
