Different sized shoes! One shoe was flopping off my foot and the other was too small. Both were labeled 8.5 in women's

I am usually a 7.5 in Vans lace up shoes and I go a size half size up in slip ons. I got these in my regular size 7.5, because I wanted them to be secure as I walk a lot during work, but they fit a little loose. The non-slip tread is also not very non-slip at all. The inside logo also started to wear off after wearing them twice, which isn't a big deal but I'm just hoping this isn't reflective of the overall quality.

The shoes are really comfortable but the only thing i have to complain about is that the material isn't BLACK. It's more of a dark Navy blue and throws off my all black uniform for work.

Bought a pair of these several years ago, and they were pretty tough and handled my day to day very well. Ordered a pair recently and well within 2 weeks they've started to fall apart. The color (black) is also inconsistent and not as "black" as they should be - which mirrors what others have said.

These should be described as like dark grey or something. When I first opened them I was like "yay new shoe!" but then I put on my work clothes and thought "oh noooo" because bro they aren't even black! I even had someone ask me if they were green. They don't match the black pants i have to wear for work.

Size runs half size bigger so get sized down than you usually would. Also somewhat slip resistant, not fully.

I really like the comfort. The style is good. The slip resistance not good. These don't perform the as well as they could while working in a restaurant. They don't do well with water. This is my second pair. This is my second pair. I put up with the inconveniences for the comfort and style. I wish I could have a pair of Vans for work that gave me the performance of a cheap shoes for crews protection with the comfort and feel of Vans.

I'm a chef and the shoes are comfy but the color is off. Its not black, it looks green and faded in the light. And for the amount if money these cost I think its not acceptable. They look old and for work I would want something more presentable. As far as slip resistance, its okay. I've had shoes with better slip resistance soles.

Not a true black they look sunbleached. Must wear full socks or the stitching on the inside hurts.

The black isn't a true black it's maybe more charcoal.

They are probably great for those on their feet all day. The differences are: Not true black. New, thicker sole is comfortable however causes the shoe to fit differently, your foot sits higher and the back of the shoe feels lower on your heel compared to the fit of normal Vans slipons. It made me feel like the shoe was going to fall off or i was getting a "flat tire". That's all. I exchanged for regular black vans.

I purchased these shoes because I work in the kitchen But these shoes aren't anti slip I try in the kitchen outdoors in the rain and I feel insecure
