The fit was nice around the toes but the heel would slip out so I recommend getting a 1/2 a size smaller.

great sole, very comfy, wider than a normal slip on. the canvas they used has a horrible color. vans should use a different material like the normal slip ons. theres no reason to use a different heavier canvas its not worth the poor faded look. the miniscule gain you get in durability is overshadowed by the appearance. its not a construction boot: I just want comfortable black slip on vans with this width and soles, that is actually black
vans could benefit from looking at the reviews, everyone is complaining about the color, no one is complaining about the canvas durability on the normal slip ons. just use the darker canvas
im going to keep them and try to dye them with rit or something

My biggest issue with these sneakers is they are grey not black. I work as a furniture delivery driver and these shoes are very comfortable. There was a sharp thread in the heal but after a couple days wear it wasn't noticeable anymore.

Got these to replace my dying restaurant work shoes. Needless to say they're just ok. They're the same comfort level as most vans. They ran a bit large. And when I hit a puddle on the floor I almost do the splits every time. The bottoms dry off fairly quickly so they get right back to not slipping but working somewhere where there's liquid on the floor 85% of the time I will be getting different shoes for work as soon as possible and using these for more out of work activities.

I bought these for work, obviously. They are very comfortable just like every pair of Van's I have ever bought. Unfortunately, I will have to return/exchange them because they are too big. I know once I get the right size they will be perfect. Also these are most definitely dark green not black.

This shoe is great, lasted for a little over a year and a half. I used this shoe for school and work. Came apart after my 3rd semester and the insole wears out over time had to replace.
I am getting ready to try the work high tops one that vans has to offer, bound to retire this pair in a bit.

I work in a restaurant and love these shoes. Comfortable, style is great for me. Only problem I have is they faded really fast. Had about 3 months and rhey are definitely a dark gray now. I want a pair of the 2.0 in this style but they are unavailable in my style. Just going to have to stalk the site till I find them in my size. Sadly there is no vans store near me so I have to order what I want.

I work 40 hours a week on my feet in a food industry job. I have bought around 5 or six pairs of these shoes over the past three or so years. With all things considered, the length of life of the shoe will depend on how often you work and your work environment. On average for each pair I've had, I work 840 hrs in the shoes each time. These are not doc martens, they will not hold up that long over time. That being said, with the price I believe that it is reasonably priced for the shoe. The non slip tread works very well on slippery floors, I've spilled 200 degree water on them and my feet have stayed dry. Very comfortable, no break in needed, however may be too narrow of a for for some. Be wary of comments on the durability of the shoe, take into account on how often you will wear them to work.

My daughter wears an 8 in Vans but had to get a 7 in these so they definitely run large. The heel is wider than her other Vans and also cut lower. She has to wear all black shoes for school so these all black leather Vans were a perfect solution for her. So far she likes them but it’s only been a couple of days so time will tell.

I read all the reviews and was hesitant to buy these but I've been a long time Vans wearer. I'm normally a Size 8. I ordered a 7 and a 7.5. The 7.5 fit great. Very happy with these shoes.

Great for working but could be a little more comfortable. I'm a bartender and on my feet a lot so it really helps to have good shoes. I bought the shoe laced ones last time and I think those ones were better, lasted me about a year

Bought these for my son who is 16 and got his first job at a fast food joint. He says they are comfortable and likes the Comfort Cush (that's all I buy for myself these days). Could be more slip resistant though. Black isn't really a true black. It's more like a very dark grey or a faded black color.

Most comfortable nonslips I've ever owned. The canvas fades fast if you're in an environment with a lot of water, but they still stay together. Even with frequent water exposure, they have no fallen apart. Just wish the color lasted a little longer. Would totes buy again.

Heel is too narrow for me. I used to try to make wide-heeled shoes work for me by adding pads, etc. But, no more. Even though the length is perfect and they are very comfortable, I've decided not to keep these.

Great shoe! I would order half a size down cause they run a little larger. My only problem is that they're not really comfortable on your feet. I had to replace the bottom foam for different ones. Another thing to note is that they're meant for style. They're not work shoes. Other than that they're nice shoes.

These have been the most comfy shoes I've worn in the kitchen. I've worn Vans for 39 years now and I would buy these again. My only complaint is that they wear down too fast. I have to buy a new pair about every 6 months.

These fit like regular Vans. Don't get me wrong, I love Vans for casual wear, running errands, etc. But these are supposed to be for work. They say "ultra cush", but to me, the only thing that makes these work shoes is the mega-tread, non-slip aspect to them. Even for Vans, these were not really that comfy. Would definitely not stand/walk/work in these for 9/10 hrs a day. Sorry, Vans: you're getting returned.

I bought these shoes for my mom. Women's 5.5 (she has small feet). She likes how she can easily slip into the shoes quickly. She also thinks that they are not very slippery. She also likes the look/design of the shoes too. She likes them overall. She will to continue purchase these shoes for now on.

I bought these so I would be more comfortable at work rather than the ones they provide for us. The first day I used them they were super slippery but I cleaned out the bottoms afterwards and now they work great. Very comfortable with the ultra cushion in them.

One shoe was bigger than the other, both marked the same size. Theyre not the same fit as their classic slip ons

Bizarre Sizing on the Vans Classic Slip On. Chose the Made for the Makers after reading it's a great shoe if you're on your feet a lot.
The shoe is fine enough, not as comfortable (padding wise) as reviewed by others. The thing that's odd is the sizing with Vans. It's my first pair. I usually wear a 9 shoe so I ordered a Women's 8.5 and 9.5. Not sure why they don't make the shoe in women's 9. Anyway, the 9.5 fell off the back of my feet. The 8.5 stayed on so I kept them. I'll keep wondering how the 9 would have fit (if they made it in 9)

These shoes are comfortable and look cute. I work at Starbucks so I’m on my feet all day and they keep my feet supported. I haven’t noticed any soreness or anything after a long day. I do think they aren’t quite as nonslip as I expected them to be, unfortunately. Sometimes the floor is quite wet at work and I have actually slipped a little bit once or twice which is disappointing.
I'd also recommend:
