Great shoe

I like these a lot but as a chef and many chefs around me foot ware is very important for function and flair. Make these soles available for customs.

My son works as a bartender and these are great since he's standing in his shoes for hours.

I was in the market for a significant upgrade to my daily work shoe, finally managed to get a pair of these. I've wore slip on Treadsafe brand work shoes for years, hence why I chose this via Vans, for something a little more dependable & comfortable. Vans did not disappoint with these! Chose the 1.0 [cloth] model because at time, Vans was out of stock of the 2.0 leather. The color is not exactly black, more like a greyish blue-black... no issue with that, just a fyi for anyone who is interested in the canvas version. Outsole is a bit more rugged than average Vans slip on. That's a plus in my book. As far as comfort: Major improvement over Treadsafe's. Feet don't hurt after wearing all day & the removable UC insoles feel supportive, if you are on feet all day in them. They are a bit firmer than normal UC insoles that are not removable/ replaceable. Shoes feel like they will last longer than a year, which is what I've been going through concerning Treadsafe's. Hope to pick up a pair of the Leather UC 2.0s to have on hand as a backup. All in all, I highly recommend these!

I bought these for hosting/serving and they are so comfortable and have saved my feet from doubles

As a server I'm running around and on my feet for normally 6-8 hours at a time. I had bought sketchers and they were killing my feet. These nonslip vans have been a lifesaver! They are sooo comfortable. The nonslip feature is great for when I'm running in and out of the kitchen too.

So I've gotten these shoes twice already. I have flat feet so these work really well for me. I stand all day at work, anywhere from 8 to 10 hours. They lasted me about 6 months which I think is pretty good considering how often I wear them. Definitely going to buy again!!!

I've had these shoes for 3 years, and they still haven't broken down. I'm talking 40 hours a week in these bad boys. They legit look brand new, the black color has hardly faded. I know there are lots of negative reviews, but I love mine. I'm currently buying another pair, just of a different style.

I regularly work 14-16 hour days in kitchens&these shoes help tremendously. Theyre super comfortable&are extremely helpful when oil or water gets on the floor as theyre nonslip.

These are the best work shoes ever, just like the white version cuz you can get creative with them! Please bring them back

These break in just like regular vans, sometimes not as great traction as other non slips, but more comfortable than ANY by far. 8+ hrs on feet no pain. Writing this as I upgrade to the sk8hi style, worth the investment at this point. (and to keep a shield for my ankle against the restaurant floors lol). The canvas slip ons lasted me 7 months 30hr work weeks. Your feet will thank you.
