I was told by store associate that these are the same as the original SK8 Hi MTE boots (no longer available) . That is not so. These are made with lower quality material (sold at same price). I've been wearing the SK8 Hi MTE for work shoes for the last 5 years and buy a new pair every year. With them no longer being made and i hate to say it but I will be swapping to another brand of shoe. So if you are looking for a replacement for your Sk8 Hi mte this is not it.

Uncomfortable.

I just received my pair and I already slipped and fell at the restaurant I work at. They're slip resistant at all. We had just started mopping and the shoes were already gliding on the floor.

I wear these to my restaurant job 5 days a week for about 8 hours a day. They are brutal, they offer almost no support for your feet. This has caused some serious back pain for me which makes walking (and serving guests) painful. Plus after only about 1.5-2 months of wearing them they have started to fall apart. Definitely not worth the price tag. Already looking for a replacement pair.

I have bought two pairs of these in the past 5 months, I am a server on my feet about five hours a night. At first they feel great and look good, but over time the back heel on the inside and outside have tore which is really disappointing when I have only wore this second pair for a little over two months. Over time they become uncomfortable and unable to wear, for the price point they should last longer.

I previously had a pair of the same shoes for my restaurant job. The previous ones gave me no issues and were comfortable and lasted me over a year! However, I bought a new pair and these are AWFUL. First, I haven't even had them for six months, I believe it's been 4-5 and just these past two weeks for some reason they have began releasing ink and staining my socks AND the ink seeps through the sock into my SKIN TURNING IT BLACK. It's so scary because I know this is not healthy. I am not a dishwasher, I would possibly understand if they were always getting wet or always being spilled on but I kid you not I can count in one hand the amount of times they have gotten wet and even then they have never gotten drenched. I am very disappointed that I wasted almost a hundred dollars on shoes that didn't even last me 5 months.

Worked in a kitchen for 15 years and these shoes are by far the best looking kitchen for shoes I've ever worn. Too bad they're NOT "non slip"!
