Started falling apart slightly after a couple weeks. Lasted fine until several months in when they really started to go quick.

These do not fit like my normal vans purchased from vans. The bottom of the shoe in sole feels like there's something pushing up into my footbed. They are also much cheaper looking and feeling. And they say leather-but it looks more like vegan leather. Returning.

I had a pair of these that lasted me almost 2 years in my restaurant job. I ordered a new pair and the moment I stepped into the kitchen I slipped. I knew they wouldn't get me through my shift safely so I grabbed another pair of shoes from my car. When I reached out to Vans they told me these aren't for restaurant work. Weird considering my last, exact same, were perfect for restaurant work. Disappointed that in need to find something else. Loved my old pair so much.

I work in a restaurant and they are not slip resistant at all. What a shame because I was excited to try them.

I used the size guide vans gives but it was completely off, way too small.

This shoe looks great, as it's a traditional vans shoe, but has TERRIBLE anti slip resistance! They're also terribly uncomfortable! -0/10

I work in a restaurant that only serves bbq- greasy meats, sloppy sides, and a fast pace environment. My MFM shoes are the all leather kind, I chose them in hopes they'd be more water resistant... only if I knew that'd be the least of my concerns. 1. Bubble sole With it being fast pace, I am moving constantly, but even my bar vans that have seen the ungodly hours of the morning have not bubbled like these. The bubble has caught the ground while walking and it has thrown me off so to say it isn't noticeable would be a small lie. 1/5 stars 2. Leather on leather The all leather is phenomenal, water-resistant all around(5/5). Now here it comes- but its ugly. There is no distinction between the panels on the shoe and the leather stretches so the shoe that was perfect is now a whole size bigger. -10/5 stars, I can't look like a squid at work 3. Breaks down My shifts are between 3-12 hours, just depends on what's happening, but no more than 40 a week. Tell me why after wearing them for a few months, my heal has its own space. like literally carved out, worn through, layers are gone, its comical. the shoe name is Made for Makers yet the shoe itself is not even made durable. I'm not even working outrageous overtime hours and they broke down like a railroad worker in the 30's! 1/5 4. Slip resistant I've learned how to walk differently because of the amount of brisket/food grease I work in. However, these shoes were not terrible in that aspect. 3/5 stars I don't know. I love vans, my feet are extremely flat so they're very comfortable for me. Trying these out made me feel sad because I had such high expectations. I even influenced my coworkers to get a pair the same week I got mine and they have since stopped wearing them because of the over-all break-down of the sole and foot bed. I don't have the patience to constantly be buying non-slip shoes so unless changes are underway, I wouldn't invest in these again. Does that mean I'm going to stop wearing mine? No. They are comfortable, water-resistant, and work approved; plus I don't have money like that to waste the shoes. **I would upload pictures but I am on my laptop. All picture reviews of the bubble sole are accurate and better show what I couldn't explain.

I love everything vans but it only took a few months for the soles to start looking like a wilted flower. Instead of holding up, there are bubbles in the sole EVERYWHERE.

It is very misleading and dangerous that this product is listed as slip-resistant. These shoes offer minimal traction on any kind of wet surface in a kitchen but especially if oil or grease is involved, they become ice skates. The shoes are stylish which I loved but after my 3rd slide on the first day wearing them, i boxed them up for return. My recommendation is for Vans to put a true slip resistant sole on these: smaller hexagon pattern, ASTM F1677 performance rated. The day that happens, i would absolutely but these shoes again. Keep me posted Vans:)

I slipped and caught myself. Had these for a few months now. Doesn't last. Vans is trying to make money off these. Calling customer service.

I was super excited to receive these shoes to replace my super uncomfortable non-slips that hurt my feet every shift. I love the sk8 hi's I have, so I figured these would be amazing on my feet behind the bar that I work at. they feel great on my feet. love the ultra cush inserts, they are mad comfy! but the first time these shoes touched water I slipped immediately. super disappointed as they continued to slip at every instance of touching any wet surface. I put a lot of faith in these shoes just to be disappointed at the first experience with their lack of slip resistance. it's super important at my job to not be slipping constantly so I'm pretty bummed.

I always buy vans, I collect as many as I can. It's been years of buying the best shoes and the best designs. These pair is the worst ever. The "non slip sole" is literally non existent. I've been skating and sliding at my serving job for weeks. To the point of hurting me knee last week. They are cute, it's still vans. Super do not recommend if you work in the service industry.

I bought the Vans x Headley & Bennett shoes years ago and loved them. I was looking for new shoes so I thought I would give these a try. Disappointed doesn't describe how I feel. I have worn them 5 times and the soles are already separating from the shoe. Poor quality and the shoes also don't fit the same either. I bought the same size as my other vans and these are smaller than the others. Get it together Vans.

First time wearing these shoes I wore them at my kitchen job. I went around a corner where there was water on the floor and almost cracked my head open on one of our sinks.

I've worn them to work and I don't do alot of walking around but can't afford to keep replacing shoes, within the first month I noticed a small part of the sole separated from the rubber outer sole, I tried to crazy glue it but that only fixed it for about a week now its worse

My wife and i both got the same shoes for work. We are both bartenders, are rarely in the kitchen, and rarely do the shoes even get wet.. Yet, the soles of my shoes have seperated in many spots. It appears they used the wrong size soles (too small) and eventually it just starts ripping around the edges. I reached out after roughly 5 weeks, and was told they would send a warranty form to my email. Twice I asked for the form, and I was never sent one. Also, I slipped twice while wearing these shoes. The nonstop grip is insufficient for a resturaunt atmosphere. One of my slips was simply due to the floor being wet. Paid more for these then i ever should have, and now i wont be buying any more vans for myself or 2 kids. (In case you were wondering, my wifes shoes seem to be doing fine. She has also slipped once, but her soles arent seperating from the shoe like mine, thus they still keep her feet dry and look ok.

These are not slip resistant AT ALL please do not buy these if you are working in the kitchen. They are insanely and I repeat INSANELY dangerous, they NEED to improve there pattern or grip or something because i slipped and hit my elbow really bad i had a huge bruise, this is my second time reviewing these because i did not see my review, they need to take out the words slip resistance otherwise this is false advertisement, trust me look at the bad reviews first and from people who actually work at restaurants walking back and forth on wet floors from dishwashers and oily floors, they do not stick the the ground, yes there are good reviews but all i see from those is people work at a light work setting place, trust me when i say these shoes are terrible work shoes, im a line cook at a busy restaurant, a fast pace and slippery job, please this is for your safety.

These shoes are incredibly dangerous, they are NOT slip resistant at all! The very first time using them i slipped and injured myself at work, DO NOT BUY! I am a line cook and needed some new nonslips but these are not worth it at all neither of these made for makers shoes. Theyre super expensive for them not to even work. You are better off buying nonslip shoes that look like vans from shoesforcrews those actually work and are not as expensive as these false advertisement shoes. I got hurt and embarrassed wearing these the first day and hour wearing them.

Being on my feet all day in the kitchen I need all day comfort and durability. The shoe is comfortable but is falling apart. On shoe still looks new while the other is breaking away all the way around the shoe.

Pass on these shoes!!! If your like me and work 60hour a week on your feet and expect a kitchen safe shoe to last more that 4 months with out falling apart. I expected a much better quality from Vans and for the price tag STAY AWAY!!!
