I work in a kitchen and they are not slip resistant at all. I can't even wear them to work

These shoes are not non-slip. They look great, and are pretty comfortable, but they are just as slippery as normal vans when worn in a restaurant setting. The only difference is that they cost more.

This was my 2nd pair of this shoe edition and I couldn't be more disappointed. they are not as non slip as my previous pair causing many falls in kitchen

I bought this for work. For the price of the shoes and how they work I wouldn't get them again. I don't feel very comfortable in the shoes as well.

I work in the culinary industry, 10 hour shifts a5 days a week. And within a month the bottom was already coming off.

They only positive is that that have slightly more cushion in the bottom than normal vans. I work in a restaurant and when the kitchen floor is wet it's still very slippery. I think they're too expensive as well seeing as they're not even really non slip. I should have read the reviews first

Someone explain how these sz 9 are bigger on the inside than my other pair of 9.5 that fit perfectly... they literally feel like clown shoes with the toe flopping around every step. Pretty dissapointed everytime I put them on. They aren't even better quality for a hundred dollars I would say it is worst...

I bought these for my husband for work and he slipped a few times with them. He loved the look of the shoe but the quality for the non slip part is not too good. Unfortunately, i don't think we can get our money back cause when he slipped they got dirty. So it seems like a waste of money now. Still love vans but don't recommend for work.

I work in a high volume kitchen and as much as I love how comfortable these shoes are they slip everywhere

literally 2 weeks, and the back side of the shoe, close to the ankle, started to rip of, at the beggining was small, but then all, the fabric, foam start open and get damaged. This is literally not to do hard work. Actually i do moving pianos, so its not really hard work.

On my second pair and feel like they are not slip proof like they say hasn't had many close calls. They are ok. I but them because i like the style compared to others i just wish they didn't slip.

I just got these and i had to get my shoes changed because it was not slip resistant.

I don't think works shoes should only last about 4 months, the lining on the heel of the show is completely gone, the sole is flimsy and the support is non existent. I gave it 2 stars because the look cool, otherwise it would be 1. I have several pairs of Vans and love every single one, except for these!

I love Vans so I was excited that i would be able to still wear my favorite brand to work instead of the other not so appealing non slip shoes out there . I've had them for 4 months and they have already worn out to the point that there is a hole on the heel. For the price these shoes did not last. If you walk a lot then these aren't it. I still love Vans tho < 3

These shoes are advertised as non-slip. This is a lie. I fell flat on my butt while working at Chick-fil-a. They look nice, and sure they work fine if you're okay falling down and embarrassing yourself a couple times a week.

I work on a restaurant. I bought the shoes about a month and they already started to loose the glue and are coming apart.

These shoes look great, but after 3 weeks of wear at a sub shop, they are completely falling apart. Plus Vans doesn't let you claim a warranty without the receipt. Vans is a great skate shoe, but most like not a good work shoe. Wish I could just get warrantied a new pair since the shoes degraded so fast.

I love vans , they are my shoe of choice but they do not stand up to working in a kitchen 10+ hours a day 50+ hours a week. The literally start coming apart. I haven't had a pair last more than 3 months.

Had to return. The black looks like a cheap dark green. In the picture everything looks black black.

Ordered these for my husband. The description says black/black/black. They were not. When they came the canvas part looked like an army green color. He hated them so I returned them.

I love my vans for everyday wear, so I bought these to wear at work (serving). Your foot sits a little higher in these due to the thicker cushioning, but the toe box was way too small. My pinky toes were smushed in and were in so much pain while wearing them, and the cushion didn't provide enough support so my feet were still sore. I also tried a half size up to see if that would remedy the issues but the shoes just ended up being too big and would slip up my heel whenever I took a step. These were also not non-slip - less slippery than regular vans, but I was still sliding around on wet areas and had to be careful. I wanted to love these but am sadly returning them because they're just way too painful to wear.
