These boots look warmer than they are. If I could return them, I would buy I passed the date. I live downtown Chicago and I wore them for the first time today in 5 degree (Fahrenheit) and my feet were so cold even with thick ski socks on. These boots are also not that comfortable. The explorer-joan boot is SO much better. I was hoping that these would be as great as they are, just taller but that wasn't the case. I wish I could return them and I wish the Joan explorer came in a tall version! I have several pairs of Sorel boots and shoes so I'm really disappointed in these.

Really cute design, and I was so excited about these. But they run really small. I'm a 9 1/2 & after reading reviews that they run small, I sized up to a 10. Many reviewers reported that they don't fit wide feet, but I didn't think that would be much of a problem since my feet are narrow. The size 10 was short and fit like a 9, so I had to send them back. I also had to pay for shipping to return them even though the sizing is strange. Exchanging for a 10.5 was not an option, so now I'm waiting for the refund to appear on my card, even though it's been over a week since they arrived back at Sorel. Pretty disappointed all around.

I wear an 8-8.5 so I got a 9 they run extremely small need a wider boot. Otherwise, I love the boot.

I ordered a half size up because the reviews suggested that they ran small. I normally wear a 9.5 but ordered a size 10. I do not have wide feet, but average. The size 10 boot is so snug that I cannot get my foot into it with a sock on. In order to wear a sock with this boot, I think I would need to go to a 10.5, but I'm not even sure that would be large enough. This boot is extremely narrow and snug. These are too expensive to not be happy with. I will be returning these.

Much smaller, not at all true to size. Im an 81/2 normally, and had to order a 91/2. Not as confortable as advertized. Hopefully it will be warm enough when the cold weather hits.

This are very narrow and squeeze your feet, not comfortable. I'm not sure if its worth the trouble to re-order and get a larger size. I even ordered a half size up to begin with.

I normally wear a size 7, so based on the reviews I read i ordered the 7 1/2. I wish I had got the 8 now that I have been wearing them. I figured I would adjust to them, but now that I have been wearing them for a month, I wished I had gone with my gut instinct and returned them. I have to wear them with thin socks and maybe with time they will stretch a bit. They are very cute and seem well made, but they run small and narrow.

I bought these and I do love them but I am a true size 8 100% and these are very tight on me to the point it is giving me a blister on the back of my heel and my toe touches the tip of the boot.

Read all the reviews on this boot saying it ran small so I sized up.... it was still too small !! I'm really sad because the 10 really ran like a 9. Now I need to return them and I can't exchange for a bigger size because I bought them on sale and can't get the sale price... really disappointed.

Cute boot, I was very surprised how narrow they are. I am a narrow 7 and ordered a 8, good thing because they fit just a little snug. The quality isn't like sorel use to be, but sadly who is? Overall, I will keep and give them a chance.

I purchased these last winter. Just pulled them out again this season. They run small and are narrow. The back piece that runs up is very uncomfortable. It digs into the back of my leg no matter how I adjust it. They are beautiful and warm but I would not purchase again for the way the back piece feels.

Great looking boot but I'm returning because they are too small and narrow as many have indicated. If you have a very narrow foot this may work for you.
