Cute boot, bought two pairs searching for the right fit, ultimately returned both. The sizing runs at least one size small, I ordered 8.5 and a 9.5 was appropriate for the length of my foot with a good winter sock. Might have been warm, but these boots offered no arch support and were too narrow for my wideish feet. I was looking for something waterproof and suitable for snowshoeing, these are stiff and feel hard on the soles of the feet. The tread looked like it would offer good slip protection. I am going with a pair of waterproof Merrill’s which are practical and waterproof but not as cute.

These are gorgeous boots and seem very warm. I ended up returning them before getting to wear them much. As someone with wider feet, I knew from reviews that these were a bit of a gamble for me. I'd gone ahead and sized half a size up, to try and combat this. They would have been fine, but there's a seam that runs over the top of the ball of the foot. This pulled the boot in tighter right where the widest part of my foot is. I ended up switching to the Whitney from Sorel, which is already much better for my wide ol' feet!

I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 in shoes. Nike's a 7, boots (like Sam Edelman) usually a 7.5. I've sized up with Kodiak boots before to an 8.5 after getting blisters in an 8 but ended up going with a 9 in these. They're pretty narrow in the toe section. I think the 8.5 might have worked but already felt my toes getting bumped so I didn't want to risk wearing them all day and end up with blisters. I think the 9's will end up working better with heavier socks! These are so really cute! But I do wish Sorel made their boots with a wider toe section. In the past every time, I've tried them on I've always noticed the toe area felt incredibly narrow or the whole shoe did. Hoping these work out!!

THESE RUN SMALL! I loved the style of these boots, unfortunately, even a 10 was too narrow/small (I take a 9 or 9.5 usually). Evidently, Sorel is not my brand. Baffin worked better for my feet. Great boots, wonderful style, just not a good fit.
