I love these boots. They're absolutely gorgeous and have tons of traction but unfortunately they're not perfect. I'd say that they have decent traction but in icey sleet, youre still sliding ... and if it's under 30 degrees, you're freezing. I wore these in Colorado and Utah over the winter when it was around 19-23 degrees and my feet were freezing even with wool socks & putting in special winter insoles. If you're in general cold weather without snow, they're great. I would still look into something else for very harsh winters though.

I wish Sorel had the quality and consistency that they used to be known for. Their sizing is all over the place and general fit and construction seems off. For $150 I would expect better. These boots, for example, are way too short for a 7.5 and the toe box is very narrow, which isn't practical for a winter boot. On a positive note, I'm stoked with the much-improved traction. Please step it up, Sorel!

When ordering these boots you will need a whole size bigger.

I am a long time Sorel customer and consistently a 7 in every brand of shoes and boots out there. I've also always been a 7 at Sorel. Past couple years the sizing has been completely inconsistent. I read The reviews for this boot and ordered a full size larger.. a size 8.. and it's STILL too small. I'm returning these boots and won't be ordering another pair of them. I cant trust what will fit... but they are dope.

Comfortable, cute, and good material with great tread, but I ordered the wrong size and exchanging them was a NIGHTMARE. Still waiting on my money back so I can reorder a size bigger. :( be sure to order your correct size or prepare for a lengthy process of returning and ordering a different size.

I love sorel & have many of their shoes, boots & wedges. However, I love in alaska and this morning I was shoveling for about 1/2 hour in wool socks & it was only 20. (It's usually much colder) and my toes were frozen!! They look warm and cozy but I'm so disappointed in the insulation of these boots.

These boots get two stars for looking very pretty - however, like everyone has mentioned, it pokes you at the back of the ankles. I purchased two boots hoping it was just manufacturing and I got very unlucky but the second pair ended up being worse than the first one! Youre paying so much money for boots that will give you blisters (which I did get btw). As with most winter boots, size up. Im a true 7 but sized up to 8

Nice boots, anyway they weren't as comfy as I expected. They have something hard in the back of the foot that may be hearful.

Run really small and narrow. I have 3 other pairs of Sorel boots all size 7.5. I ordered up a size per recommendation a size 8. Even Up a size the boots pinched my toes and heel had to return. Very disappointed

Books look great and are true to size but not very warm in below freezing conditions

The boots look and feel amazing but run small. I am always a size 6. Ordered in my size and they are super tight, even with standard socks. Size up when ordering!!

For the price I paid, they are definitely not the warmest boots for a Chicago winter. I'll keep them because I've already worn them hoping they just needed to be broken in? My toes are frozen after 20 minutes standing at the train stop in Chicago. I'm not sure if your reviews are fully accurate and I'm rather disappointed to be left with cold feet. Very stylish though, perhaps better for mild winters or Fall even.won't be buying another pair again.

If I had not worn these outside I would have returned them!!!! Most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn!!!!!!

I love the boots but they were way small & now sold out so I can't exchange. Bummer!
