Compact but a lot of storage for the size. As usual with Timbuk2, the quality is top notch. It's a significantly better product than Sw**s G**r, Og*o, and other middle of the road laptop backpacks. I routinely fit a 2024 Macbook Pro, and 2018 Macbook Pro, and a 15" Lenovo laptop in here, along with all the necessary cords and adapters. Plus a leather zipper folio for quoting jobs (graph paper pad, pens, papers, etc), and there's still room in the pockets for sunglasses, earphones, water bottle, meds, etc. I can even stuff a rain shell and a hat in there if needed. My Timbuk2 rolling duffel from 2015 (Timbuk2 why don't you still make real luggage?!) has been a constant checked bag travel companion for almost 10 years and is still rock solid after some serious abuse. I expect the same longevity from this backpack.

Been using this bag for work and it's absolutely perfect. Sleek design, comfortable, and has all the space / pockets I need for all my work equipment. Highly recommend this bag!

I love the bag! It's very compact, and it has so much utility.

This backpack is exactly what I was looking for. It is sleek and professional looking, which makes it great for work. It is comfortable to carry and has a large capacity despite the slim look. The only drawback for me is the small bottle holder on the side. It will hold your average plastic bottle from a venting machine, but it is too small for a the larger reusable bottles. My simple solution: put the larger bottle inside! It keeps the bag looking nice.

I am thrilled to bits with the support Timbuk2 has provided. I bough this bag and used it almost every day and I saw few threads on the backside had come out and I asked the store guys to see if they could repair it. They asked me to leave the bag so they could check if they could repair it. They surprised me by replacing the bag entirely. Like i said I am pleasantly surprised with such exemplary support

This is not only the best backpack I've ever owned, but the best personal accessory. I am actually excited to go to work each day because I love this bag so much. It has a spot for everything, with no excess. Everything just fits perfectly. The materials are high quality and very stylish. Somehow this bag distrubutes the weight in a way that makes it feel almost weightless. My back problems have improved. No lies, this bag is amazing. Wish I could give it 10 stars.

Using this for my work computer. Love the professional look. Love the many pockets and places to keep my things well organized. I would definitely recommend this backpack for the professional on the go.

Loving the backpack!

Had an eye for this bag for a while. Loving it so far. Feels like a well made bag, using it for work and is comfortable to wear.

This backpack is even better than I thought it would be. It has so much room and it's very comfortable to wear. Even when the backpack has a lot of stuff in it, it doesn't feel too heavy for me. The straps are a little wide for me, but the buckle at the front helps with that.

This backpack worked well on my trip last week. My computer is heavy and it made carrying it though the airport so much easier. I really appreciated the padded straps and the overall structure of the backpack.

I've been through a number of laptop backpacks..... I'm a bit of a road warrior. This is the best I've used in 20+ years.

Purchased for bringing books back and forth to school. Perfect size and can fit a snack in it too.

Bought my first Timbuk2 backpack in 2020 and havent looked back since. Great quality, great customer service. All my friends ask where I got my backpack.

I've tried a lot of different backpacks over the past decade or so, and the Eco Black Deluxe has everything I've been looking for all this time. Sections that are easy to access, secure, and padded. Individual pockets and features that are well thought-out, e.g. the elasticity of the interior pockets in the front section and the key clip in the very front pocket. Finally, it looks good. Some of the more rugged, useful backpacks tend to look too tech bro or try hard, whereas the simplicity of this feels minimalist yet attractive.

I like the design thinking on this bag. I was deliberate in my selection for business travel and it seems to be a good choice. Plenty of the right type of pockets and a sturdy construction.

Great low profile backpack. Travel a lot with it, fits my laptop, tablet, cables, chargers, etc. couple small pockets for quick access stuff. Also can fit a fleece and down vest in with it.

I loved this bag so much that I bought it twice...first purchased over a year ago and it was a perfect mix of functionality and I recieved a ton of compliments on the style. Unfortunately, my bag was stolen from vehicle recently and I did not give a second thought to replace with anything else. It is just the right size for travel and daily office use as it has easily accessible internal and external compartments.

I LOVE my deluxe! It's comfortable, I carry my bag for work and travel. I can fit my personal and work belongings. I definitely recommend this bag.

Great everyday bag that I also use for travel. Every aspect of the bag is well thought out and extremely well made. I'd be surprised if I wasn't still using this 20 years from now.

This was bought as a gift for a college student who loved it but decided to go with a different bag to be able to fit a larger water bottle in the pouch.

High quality everything. I use this bag everyday for work and once in a while for travel. Great to pack all my daily needs and my lunch. Great for organization easy access to my smaller things and my keys. Very sturdy all around. Looks great flat or fully packed.

The bag is looks great and is comfortable to wear. It has a sleek, slender look but a lot of storage. It easily fits my laptop and portable monitor in one compartment and has plenty of room for everything else I need for a trip to the office or across the country.

Exactly the size I was looking for. A smaller work backpack that can still fit a surprising amount of stuff when needed, but small enough to fit in my bike basket. I can't comment on durability yet because it's only been a few weeks, but it seems solidly built. Replaced my 15-year-old Tumi bag with this for half the price. I'm not sure this is up to the build quality of the Tumi, but it's pretty close. One minor annoyance is how the little 'pull strings' that hang off the zipper pulls will dangle down into the pocket below when the lower pocket open, and you cannot close the lower pocket unless you reach in an pull the two dangly bits up and out of the pocket, out of the way of the zipper. I'm surprised they didn't catch this at the development phase because it's pretty clearly inconvenient and happens every time I open either of the two 'lower' pockets. This doesn't bother me, but in daylight this bag doesn't really look black. It's more of a dark slate blue. Overall though, love this bag so far.
