The shell layer (the green section) is a thin white plastic layer with a thin green coating. it has no durability and it is not woven. The sleeve are very susceptible to tear and ripping off since the shell is very thin and flimsy. The upper part (navy) has a better quality though. Also all stitches are falling apart after 3 weeks of use. It is a disappointing product from the brand.

Loved the colors and it fits him perfectly. Warm pockets and the zipper doesn't bother him at the neckit actually goes above his mouth so it keeps him warmer. Extremely happy with my purchase.

New purchase, have not gotten a lot of wear yet. My kids loved the softness of the hood material and the colors. Will use it as a ski/colder weather jacket. Columbia has never disappointed our family and we keep buying items again and again. Very reliable quality.

First time buying this jacket and I am excited to see the quality of the item. Not bulky, lots of pockets. Will use it for ski trips and colder days. The material on the inside of the hood is so soft.

Great all weather jacket! Waterproof and warm. I love the extendable sleeves if we need just a little more length to get through a season. I bought the XS for my 7 year old and it was the perfect size with a bit of room to grow. The colors are also great too.

I wasn't surprised when the product arrived and it exceeded my expectations. My son loves his new coat, and I am very pleased as well. My son loved this coat. It worked perfect for a recent ski trip. Not too bulky. Lots of pockets. He is 130 lbs 10 years old and 5'2". He should be able to wear it for 2 seasons. He is now wearing it for chilly chicago.

Great jacket for my 6 year old son, who is very tall for his age. I got a bigger size so it will fit him next year too. He went skiing in it— both downhill and cross country, he played in it outside in the snow and wore it to school. It’s very warm and lightweight and stylish— perfect winter jacket! He never once said he was cold while wearing it, even without layering.

Fantastic coat! Lightweight and warm. Sleeves run a little long. I wish they would make cuter more stylish patterns and designs like they used to. Great hood is oversized. Perfect for waking to school in Chicago winters!

Excellent warmth and minimal bulk. This is the third size of this jacket that we have purchased. It's perfectly warm but doesn't have the bulk so they can comfortably move their arms. Thanks for keeping the same simple design!
