Exactly what I was looking for!

This coat is good looking and comfortable, not to mention warm. I love the hood it has as well. All-in-all, a light weight, longer length coat that will serve very well for the winter.

Stylish, looks great with jeans and appropriate for business casual

I live in Michigan and work in football. I got this to wear outside while working and it is perfect. I can wear layers under it and it still doesn't feel too snug. I love it

I'm always chilly and spend a lot of time outdoors, but needed an option that was a bit more stylish for when I was on business outtings. This fits the bill perfectly - it is warm AND stylish and lightweight. LOVE it.

Good looking, light weight and warm coat. The simple design can go anywhere: work, restaurants or walks. Size runs small. I normally wear a large but had to get XXL for the roominess I like.

Anything outdoors. Casual walking or hiking in cold climate.

I'm usually a small/medium, but I went with the medium to accommodate wearing a sweater or sweatshirt underneath and it fits great! Just a little loose with a regular shirt underneath but still looks great, and I can comfortably wear a bulky sweater underneath of the coat. It's so warm!

Needed to replace parka I've had for 20 years and wanted slightly shorter length. This one is perfect

I first bought this coat in a size XL because that was what the "size finder" recommended, but once I got home with it, I realized it was just way too big. So I returned it for a size smaller, the Large, but my true North-Face size is a medium, especially in their thin coats. Let me tell you, the size smaller fit like a glove, tight in all the right places, it keeps my super warm,(better then my Calvin Klein puffy coat, that wind rips straight thru). This is the BEST COAT that I have purchased in the past 3 years! Was so in love, I bought a shorter jacket in another color for the spring to wear! Would highly recommend this coat to ANYONE WHO LIVES IN SEATTLE, WA areas. Our weather is so unpredictable all year around, this coat is a great investment to keep you warm when you need it!

This coat is very lightweight. I was pleasantly surprised how lightweight and how warm it kept me! It is so comfortable and stylish. I will definitely be buying from North Face again. Their craftmanship is like no other!

I bought this metropolis parka 3 years ago and just bought another one for a back up. Love it so much and keeps me warm all winter long even in -10 degrees weather.

Fits really well from upper body through my hips. I have a very curvy figure, so finding a longer length jacket that still fits my smaller upper body while not being tight through my hips and butt is tough and the metropolis parka does the trick! So happy I don't have to size up just to fit my lower half, leaving the top of the jacket bulky. The parka is also comfortable, warm and stylish. I'll wear it to work, around town and even over my ski pants for apre skis (:

I just love this parka, going to England soon so this parka is perfect for the cold. I am 5'5", 129 pounds, got a XS and fits well, better than expected!

I really like the neck of the coat because when you zip it up fully, it acts sortof like a scarf. It's also thick and windproof while being lightweight which I appreciate. I chose true to size, however I'm usually a medium in coats but the medium was too big. I went to the small and that fits wonderfully!

This is great for NYC winter weather (30s). At first, I thought the coat was a bit skimpy because it's so lightweight, but once I tried it out in the cold, I realized that it's quite warm. The taupe color is beautiful! The perfect olive-y green. Quality-wise, I have seen a few feathers coming out, so only time will tell whether that will be a persistent issue. So far, so good.

I wanted a coat to wear for casual outings and dinner dates with my husband. This parka looked perfect and has definitely met my expectations. I would recommend!
