Usually I can tell right away when I put on new shoes if they will be comfortable but I thought I would give these a full day. There just seemed to be very little support. I do suffer from heel bone spurs and plantar fasciitis so I need the extra support. These may be great for people without these issues. Unfortunately I had to return them.

I truly wanted to wear these new hiking shoes! But, when I attempted to try them on for the first time after my online purchase, I couldn't lace them up. The eyelets at the top are malformed, and the hole is too small for the lace tips. On both shoes. I guess no quality control on this pair?

I cannot wear these. No rollbar and not enough support. When you stopped making the 1300' s I can no longer wear New Balance. I had to go with a different brand. Very disappointing because I ordered 2 or 3 at a time.

Had to return them fit a little tight. I Wish the fit would have love to have them,not to many stores sell brown sneakers.

This shoe is not true to size. Ordered regular size for NB - this shoe was big and clunky. It was also heavy on the foot and did not have arch support. Returned item - customer svc. was accommodating w/ timely refund which was good.

NB changed the style so that this comes up higher around the ankle than it used to. I can walk about an hour in that before it starts to irritate my ankle. I have a pair like that already don't need another one so these were returned. Hope they will change it back so it is lower profile again soon. Am I the only one that wishes retailers didn't change styles of things all the time. If it isn't broke...don't fix it.

I have worn New Balance shoes for several years and felt confident buying online since my local shoe store was closed during the virus. The shoes sounded like just what I needed for hiking but when I wore them it felt like there were two parallel ridges running from toes to heels in each shoe. I bought some foam insoles that I thought might help but they don't. Yesterday I tried wearing the shoes again and after a one hour walk I could hardly stand the pain. Very disappointed and unhappy. My shoe store has reopened and I went to buy some new hiking shoes yesterday. I decided on a pair of Merrells. Hiked with them this morning for two hours. No pain.

I always wear New Balance. These mail order shoes didn't fit and my orthotics didn't fit

I have always bought NB lighter weight design trail walkers...and this is one of the few times I have been very disappointed with the support, stability in this trail walker. The description says you can go off the regular path to trail type areas, but this shoe is not an off road type walker. The insert is FLAT as a pancake with no support at all!! All NB shoes need an insert that is molded with a heel cup/arch support of some type for better foot alignment and comfort. Not wanting to spend the $50.00 and up that NB is charging for a set of good inserts....their shoes should have a supported insert to begin with...... Also....stop making these outside the USA, we NEED to support our Country and Workers!

It may be a good shoe but my feet hurts when I wear these. When I looked up walking shoes these were displayed...but they are not near as comfortable as the 411's for walking.

The show was supposed to be a "walking" shoe. It is SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!! The shoe runs quite small and there is little-to-no padding at all in the foot bed. I have tried many different inserts in the shoes, with no luck. I hope I can send them back!

I ordered a wide because I have a broken foot. These are not wide. I removed the foot pad and compared it with pads from my other shoes which are medium and they are the same.

I love NB running shoes. I always order a wide bc of a wide ball of foot. These in a wide are a lot more narrow than a running shoe.
