I have two pair and have worn them every day since I got them. Warm, comfortable, great fit. They would be absolutely perfect if they had pockets. PLEASE MAKE A VERSION WITH POCKETS!

I wore these as a base layer while skiing. They are warm and comfortable. I'm happy with this purchase.

I tend to over dress since I aged (70) and use long johns when weather is below 45 deg F. These are very comfortable, soft and WARM for my leisurely dog and park walks . They are durable, handle a washing machine laundering well and maintain their size!

The 250 bade layer tights are the greatest in staying warm. They are expensive but worth it.

Hiking, camping, snowboarding. We spent a month on the road and these were trip MVP. I ride in them, layer them for winter hikes or activity outside. They're heavy but still good for sleeping while winter camping (in camper). My friend also has and for lot camping they are a second skin for both of us.

I had misgivings about spending this much money on a pair of long underwear, but I'm so glad I did! They are definitely a BIG upgrade from the $30 pair I've been wearing for a couple of years. They're very warm, they're soft and don't itch me at all, and they fit well under jeans as well as under tights when I want to wear a dress in the wintertime. I live in Iowa where it has been hovering between -15 and 5 degrees F for the past couple of weeks, and these have kept me suitably warm while going about daily work and errands.

I love this base layer bottom. It is so comfortable and not itchy at all. I wear it under pants for walking out in the cold and sometimes just wear it in the house. I am planning on buying more

I bought these to use as an under layer for snowboarding & hiking in the winter. They are sooo cozy that I wear them for being snuggly in the house, especially since they are brand new and so soft!

Great As a base layer for both Nordic and downhill skiing.

Thin enough so they don't compromise movement, fit easily under other pants. I wear these under goretex shell pants and am toasty through the low teens.

Very comfortable and warm. My only complaint is the length. I'm 5"8 and they should have longer lengths for us tall girls. I do wear my leggings with winter boots and tall wool socks so my ankles were covered. Taller lengths please!!!

Delightfully soft and warm. If I were an animal, this would be the fur I'd choose.

I love the quality of the smartwool products including these tights. They are warm, not itchy (and I am very sensitive to itch) and fit as expected. If in between sizes I think size up. I think they are expensive for what they should be. Also, the pick up every lint and hair, and u don't have pets. That being said, I love them but buy less because of price.

perfect for layering. i spend a lot of time outdoors. smart wool 250 base layer bottoms keeps me warm during the cold weather months. they are comfortable not scratchy like other wool garments I've worn. the fit is perfect. i purchased a small. 5' 5" 120 lbs.

why have I denied myself these amazing leggings for so long? Regardless - I didn't have to regret my lag time one second more with three day shipping that was more like only two days. So comfy and warm. Might not take them off until spring

Incredibly comfortable and it kept me warm during cold rain while fishing. It also wicks away moisture really well which is a huge plus in the PNW.

5' 6" and 128, perfect fit with the medium. Fitted, flattering, comfortable. Great base for skiing - wore this under non-insulated snow pants and was comfortable on a 30 degree ski day.

Bought these to replace a VERY well worn pair of Smartwool longjohns, which got a little too much love from some woolmoths last year. I was happy to see these are even better fitting than my old ones. Same great level of added warmth under jeans.
