I like the functionality of this jacket as a shell and as a liner light coat but I am not crazy about the 2 when they are together as the jacket becomes tight and loses flexibility. I would also like to see a internal zippered chest pocket on the shell jacket.

This item was great purchase the jacket is true to size love the style and the color of the jacket is black melange when you first take it out it looks green but it is not. I would recommend this jacket to everyone thank you.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It is true to size and very warm. It should keep my husband warm in our Minnesota winters.

I love this coat. I live in Central Oregon & this coat meets all of my needs. The zip out liner jacket is perfect for fall weather & when skiing or just dealing with our winter storms, this coat keeps me dry & warm.

This is my first Columbia jacket that's been heavier weight than a softshell or fleece jacket and I am very happy with it. I like the fact that you can zip out the inner jacket and use it on days that aren't as cold or combine it with the outer jacket for days that are colder. I highly recommend this jacket!

I am only 5'10, but weigh in at 335 pounds. I have a large abdomen that requires 4X t-shirts in order to not be tight. I bought this coat in size 3X, and I have not been disappointed. It is a little snug on me, but I did buy smaller than what I normally wear, but it is not restrictive. I live in Massachusetts and this coat works very well.

This is only my second coat from Columbia because they are made very well. I wouldn't have bought it but my other lasted 15+ years and I wanted a new style. You can't go wrong with this coat.

I bought this for my husband. This jacket is extremely warm and versatile. He has worn it everyday through rain and snow and stays warm and dry. I would highly recommend this jacket! The sizing is true to size and the quality of the jacket is well worth the money.

This has been an excellent jacket. Very impressed with the quality and comfort level. It is very warm and does an excellent job at cutting the wind. My only little grievance is I wish the hood zipped in and had some lining to it as well. Otherwise couldn't say anything negative about the jacket.

I needed a nice, warm, quality jacket for my husband when he visits in Alaska. This is exactly what he needed. Roomy enough to layer and excellent quality.

After seeing a review from a guy who described himself as "6'4" 215lbs with monkey arms" who raved about the fit of this jacket, my first thought was "holy cow! I have an evil twin somewhere!" He wasn't lying. As someone who has constant trouble finding things that fit my frame as well as my 38" arms, this jacket is a revelation. Well done Columbia

Fits great. I am 215 LBS and almost 6' 4" and I have long monkey arms. I purchased a large tall and if feels fits great. Lots of room to move around and very warm.

Coat looks and feels great. Getting ready to be transferred to Alaska and can't wait to test it in the rainy season. So far exceeds expectations.

This jacket is a little tight in the shoulder/chest area just as it was describe in a review. Besides that this jacket is awesome. I was in keystone Colorado last weekend and the jacket lived up to reputation. Awesome purchase. Highly recommended this jacket.

I'm tall and slender and always looking for tall sizes. I jumped on this coat when I saw it came in tall. It fits very well in the sleeves and length of body. When I first put it on, I was concerned about how warm it would keep me as there isn't a lot of bulk. The Omni-heat lining looked like a gimmick at first but it really works. You actually feel your body heat reflecting back. I would definitely buy one of these again.

The best winter jacket ever! its hard getting nice winter clothing in BIG & TALL sizes! I am grateful that columbia still makes clothing for a man of my size. I will oder another one in a few weeks

Like most jackets for me the shoulders are always tight and the mid section is huge but was worried about it being comfortable as I ski. Took the coat thru it's paces yesterday in -30 degree weather and 40mph winds and I stayed nice and toasty. Love this coat and would recommend it to anyone.

Quality, fit, finish, function are all excellent. What did surprise me is the temperature range over which this jacket is comfortable. This winter has had some crazy weather, from two day thaws to record cold. I have worn this jacket from about 40F down to -22F (with a wind chill of -50!). OK at -22 it wasn't toasty warm, but it's not an Arctic expedition jacket. It did keep me warm enough that I did not need to shiver. That is pretty darned excellent. At the same time, in warmer weather, the breathability is such that I don't get soaked from sweat. It is a great choice for moderate activity in all sorts of weather.

The jacket is amazing; it is long enough in the body and arms, fits across the chest; I'm 6'6" and absolute love it. My testimony should be convincing, as my previous Columbia jacket is almost 26 years old and I would not give it up until I found something worthy to replace it!
