I loved the Rincon model construction of the shoe, but unfortunately it didnt work: I tried both men and women versions after reading excellent editor review for runner's world. Men version was perfect but didn't have my size (women 7.5; it starts with men size 7 which was too long for me). Women size 7.5 felt true to size but narrow (fabric was stretching too much on the sides), and the shoe felt weird around the left heel, it almost felt like it was trying to align my foot out of its natural position. It was probably my left foot (didn't feel it on the right) but I didn't feel that in men version (still debating it I should return it for being larger size) or any of my other running shoes. Generally great shoe - light, but provides excellent cushion, yet is sturdy. I think it is time for unisex shoes with more options in terms of width, etc

I bought these shoes because I was due for a new pair. I had seen lots of Hoka's on starting lines and was curious. "Funny looking shoes" I thought. So curiosity got the best of me so I ordered a pair of the Rincons, honestly because they were the least expensive I found that day. I hate spending over 100$ if I'm going to get a few runs out of them and retire them to a closet. I have been pleasantly surprised so far. They felt pretty good on my first run, and I now have 5 or 6 longer runs on them and still comfortable enough. I recently started running after an injury timeout and found that the Achilles did not flare up again. Overall not as comfortable as some brands I've tried, but I would buy Hoka's again!

Shoes seem sturdy. And very lightweight. I wish they had just a tad more stability

This is a good shoe. Time will tell how it wears. I left Hoka because they were wearing out too fast with the high mileage that I do. These are too expensive to have to replace every two months. We'll see on this one.

I use this as I work shoe. I am a nurse, and need cushion and support. Heard about it from another nurse!

Let's just start with that the Rincon is my all time favorite trainer to date! I run 50-60 miles a week and this shoe is in my rotation for easy/recovery days as well as some of my long runs. I love how light and cushioned it is! Really a treat for my feet. The only thing I am disappointed about Is the outsole, which started showing a lot of wear around 50 miles, and the outsole continues to wear as I am over 100 miles in my current pair. I really do love this shoe and would love HOKA to keep this in their rotation, maybe just adding a little more to the outsole :)

I have so much shoe lace leftover I trip over them. I have purchased Hoka for years and have never had a shoe that did this.

I'm on the fence about this pair. Loved the color choices, good neutral, plush running shoe for long distances. The only issue I had was with my right foot. I'm not sure if it has more to do with my foot itself or if lack of lining inside. It started with rubbing that turned into a blister. I took care of that issue easily, but then I started developing heel and ankle pain. It felt like it was a little wide around the heel and even when tightening my laces I felt like my heel was moving more than it should which eventually ended up in an injury. Other than that I like the Rincon, it just didn't really work for me.

I actually (accidently) bought two identical pairs of the same shoe. These are far lighter and great for walking around in, but they don't feeeel as though they give me as much support as my (uglier) heftier black shoes by HOKA.

I am a walker with arthritis in both feet. I love Hoka's because of the cushioning and support. I like the Rincon's weight and breathability, but it does not give me the arch support nor the cushioning that I am accustomed to in my previous Hoka's.

I need the cushion of a Clifton to do my runs and this provides an amazing amount of cushion for how lightweight this is. Great for speed!

I loved hokas when they first came out- remember the Stinson atr that was a Barney color and pull ties? This has a similar feel to what hokas used to be- almost. The sole will not hold up to trails, nor does it have the traction, but I am liking it for the road. I put them on and did a 7-mile run and didn't even think about them- which I think is a good thing. I also liked the price point.

This shoe is a very versatile shoe. I've used it on both fast and more casual training runs, both short and long (23k) distances. It is a very good all-rounder. Slightly more cushioned than a Mach, but not as extreme as a Clifton. Breaks in easier than any other Hoka shoe I've worn. It has a very comfortable fit, it feels like the shoe hugs your feet. The toebox is not as wide as a Gaviota or Mach, but it's not a snug fit either, but something to keep in mind if you have wide feet.
This will be my go-to training shoe.
The reason I give this shoe a 4 and not a 5 star is the durability and that it's terrible for wet trails/paths. Because of the very hollowed out bottom of the shoe, and the pattern, a lot of dirt gets stuck in it during wet conditions and the shoe suddenly feels very heavy! Therefore you'll need a second pair to "alternate" with if you're gonna use it on wet surfaces (except roads and track of course).
However, all in all a very good shoe for a casual runner doing occasional races.

I've been wearing this shoe as my daily go to and as a gym trainer while I recover from a tibial fracture. I use custom orthotics and have bunions and this shoe is extremely supportive and cushioned with a soft feel. The toe box could be a bit wider but it's not restrictive. Overall the shoe is aesthetically pleasing for everyday wear without being bulky. I have not yet run in the shoe but it's been great for walking.

This is my 3rd pair of HOKA's but my first of this style. I love the color but the Right shoe, inside under my great toe feels like there is something hard that puts pressure on my foot but it could be my foot

The overall experience was ok, bought these for work after a couple of days of wearing them my ankle hurt so bad. There was not enough support for standing on my feet for eight hours

I love the style, weight, and cushion of the show but it needs more arch support. they felt lat on the inside. I thought they would have been better than the NB but for now, I must stick to NB. I wore the shoe for 5 days and after walking with them I had pain in my feet.

This is definitely the most attractive Hoka shoe. Unfortunately had to return because it was too narrow. Please make wide widths and keep the awesome colors/prints!

I've only worn them a few times and have a horrible flare up of plantar fascitis at the moment in one foot which is actually the reason I purchased these. I have had some relief, but very little. I'm hoping I just need to wear them a little longer and that they'll get better.

I wear 7B in all my athletic shoes. This shoe doesn't work for me. Length was o.k. But, because the width was too wide, the shoes felt sloppy, uncomfortable, and difficult to walk in. The shoe also rubbed my ankle bones - maybe because I have flat feet. Cushion was good; maybe the shoe will work for those with wider feet and higher arch.
