I was told by my podiatrist to give Hoka One' One' a try as they have better support for plantar factitious, normally I stick fully to Saucony however; noticed when purchasing additional insoles for shock absorbance that Saucony has basically no insole (creating a bigger problem). I purchased this shoe (Hoka) and what a difference I originally ordered my normal size 8.5 but there were a tad big so I exchanged for 8 and they are perfect fit. The have a slight rocker motion and and 1/2 the weight of my Saucony's. I just took them for a walk of 4 miles first 4 miles completed in 2 months to to foot issues. I would recommend these to someone with plantar factious, bone spurs and arthritis as they do have a different feel of comfort.

I'm a long-time Brooks Ghost customer. Have been running in those for years, including marathon distance. My new pair of Ghost felt a bit "off" or stiff or something, so I thought I'd step out of my comfort zone and try something new with the Hoka One Rincon.
Uppers are very flexible, but the lacing enables a very nice tailored fit across the foot and also prevents any heel slippage without needing to be excessively tight.
THey're a bit narrow in the forefoot, to the point where the outside of my foot actually overlaps the edge of the footbed a bit. It took a bit of walking outside to figure out what the issue was.
I've pulled the glued (useless) insoles out and replaced them with a pair of Spenco Ground Control High Arch insoles.
Now the fit is perfect and I'm using these for my twice daily dog walks. The cushioning is softer than my Brooks Ghost, so I won't be using these for long distance running. However, since my dog pulls intensely on our speed walks, my knees were taking some punishment. I think this new setup with the Hoka One Rincon plus Spenco insoles is going to relieve my knees and make those walks a lot more fun!

The shoe is comfortable, but the toe box is too wide and deep. It wrinkles up when I pull the strings as tight as I need to.

I'm a size 8, but ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfect.
They have a great support to cush ratio and are overall comfortable. I do wish there was more arch support in the shoe for the price. I have slightly high arches, so maybe that's why.
I did not find the toebox to be wide at all, as another reviewer stated.
I got the Ironman edition and found the shoe to look exactly as shown.

I ordered two pairs of Hoka's, these and the Clifton 6. I've worn the Rincon for 2 days and really like how light and comfortable they are. I've been wearing the Clifton's to see if they will work for a walking shoe. I can't decide what pair I like better, so I may end up keeping both. Need to wear the Rincon's some more to determine if they truly deserve a 5 star.

It's a nice shoe. I like that it's slim but I personally wish I had more plush. It's thin and light. The laces bunch up a little where I bend my foot when running and I don't like that. If you have slim feet and don't need a lot of width in your toes this shoe will be great for you! I have slim feet and they have a nice fit.

Love these shoes! I can wear them for long runs or short runs. They are extremely light and fast with just enough cushion. My only complaint is the soles wear our very quickly. If this can be fixed in the new model I'd give it 5 stars!

I love the way these look and feel during walkshowever, I've noticed on longer runs and walks, that my blisters and bunion pain is a bit more pronounced. I've had added hip pain as well. I can't really fault the shoe for that per se, just that they may not work with my wider foot and my increase in miles.

Classic Hoka fit and feel. The tread on the bottom is nitceable to feel under my foot and I feel the ridges. Unlike these for walking around town and gym workouts.

Love the support that these give my joints- I've been running for 8 years and have never had so much comfort in running! Sad that they've worn out so fast.

After trying several shoes, which I am so grateful for Zappos readily accepting the return, i have finally found my babies! These are lightweight and have moderate amount of cushion. After trying the Hoka Bondi 6, I can say i prefer the cushioning in these, as the Bondi 6 were a bit to super cushioned for my liking, and also higher off the ground. I got the lead/pink sand color and I am in LOVE!
If you prefer super cushioned and being high off the ground these are not for you, but for me this is the perfect BALANCE!
I usually wear a 7.5 in Brooks, and in these I listened to other reviewers and got a 6.5 and they fit PERFECTLY!!! You're better off going a 1/2 to full size down. I usually wear 6.5 in sandals, but surprisingly these were spot on!
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Ghost 12 and Launch 6.

These are my first pair of Hokas - so far I'm really impressed! Very comfortable with the right amount of cushion. I was pleasantly surprised with how light-weight they are! I've had them just under two weeks and logged just about 20 miles with them so far. They seem to be breaking in really well. The mesh upper is very breathable, which I'm sure will be great as the days get warmer. I've only had one issue so far - I nicked my toe on an up-turned piece of sidewalk which tore a small hole in the mesh. I was a little disappointed the mesh didn't hold up better. Other than that, very happy with these!

I wear a 9.5 in Mizunos, 10 in Brooks. Even the 9.0 in Rincons was too long. I tried the 8.5, which was perfect in length but then became too narrow. I ended up going with the Cliftons because I couldn't make these work.

I was told that these are the "best shoes for nurses" and during this COVID 19 time I am on my feet 24/7 at a dialysis facility. I am pleased with how they look, and I am pleased with the support. While I generally wear a 9 in tennis shoes, these feel more like a 9.5. I should have purchased a 8.5/ I needed the shoes ASAP so I did not send them back. My hip and knee pain has improved greatly.

I love running in these shoes. They feel great for any type of run. However, I only have about 60 miles on them and the soles are wearing away quickly. I'll be lucky if I get 100 out of them. Maybe the next edition will have tougher wear?

I prefer the Hoka Clifton for added support but the Rincon are terrible. They seemed comfortable enough but I prefer more support on the top of my foot and around the ankle. Kept the Clifton but the Rincon go back.

Really pretty shoe, but way too big. I can't wear them so they're still in the box. Can't give an honest review without wearing them.

I wear a 10 in street shoes but I buy half size up in running. I inserted an arch support. I have a lean foot and the shoe feels roomy. Once i added the insert, and i left the hoka insert, I place mine on top. The shoe looks like it would be heavy but super light and I noticed some of my pains after running are no more. I don't run long distance. I use these shoes at Orange Theory Classes. So far so good!

I am very pleased with the Rincon. This shoe is light yet cushioned just enough to absorb shock and still feel the road.
