I followed advice of many reviewers regarding size of Hokas and ordered a half size larger than my usual ( 8 1/2); I ordered a size 8, and there is still have plenty of room in length. I ordered wide width to accomodate bunions; the shoe allows room for bunions to flex with comfort. The toe box is also high enough. I wore these out of the box on a day when I had to go up and down stairs to the laundry room many times, and my feet never hurt, although the rest of me did! Hokas can that will carry you in comfort through an extreme workout. I would never have chosen that much exercise in one day!

These are perfect if you ahve orthotics and want the ideal lightweight shoe for them to fit in. Not a fan of the insoles they come with, but with your own inserts, they are perfect. Great variety of colors too. Very cute!

I purchased the size 7 as many reviewers noted that these ran a little large. I typically purchase a 7.5 in other running shoes.
These shoes are awesome! It feels like you stepping into a cloud of marshmallows. I have terrible feet and have had several foot surgeries. These shoes are making all the difference in making it comfortable for me to run/walk, etc.

I love the Hoka Clifton and I ordered my normal running shoe size (8 1/2D) the I've been wearing for over 30 years. I looked at the size on my Clifton 4 and they are an 8 1/2D so that is what I ordered for the Clifton 6....way too big. I've reordered a size 8 and hoping they fit, but think I may even have to go down another size according to some other reviews I've read. I am in love with the Hoka shoes I'm currently wearing, wish I had found them years ago. Best running shoe I've ever owned, I don't know what Hoka is thinking with the sizes!!!!

I was recently diagnosed with a myriad of painful foot issues, succinctly described as “wear and tear” due to years of heels, sports, and age. My podiatrist recommended Hoka. Acting on his advice I ordered three different styles. The Clifton 6 is effectively provided the support I need. I highly recommend it!

I just received my pair of Clifton 6. I discovered this brand last year when I had a planar plate tear. This was the only shoe I could wear that didn't hurt and now I'm a convert! My last pair was the Clifton 5, but since that model appears to have been replaced by the Clifton 6 I decided to give them a try. I did, however, order a 1/2 size smaller than usual after reading other reviews here and I'm glad I did. I ordered a 7 instead of my usual 7.5 and still have plenty of room. Ordered the lead/seafoam color to differentiate from my older black pair and really like the color too!

These are true to size. I'm a size 6.5 in almost every shoe except Nike and Brooks where I am more comfortable in a size 7. This is my first pair of Hoka's and I'm really liking them. I've already run several miles both indoor and out (mostly out) and would buy them again for certain. And, they're quite cute!

I am new to running, after successfully (and sort of accidentally) strengthening my bad knees doing lots of mountain hiking last summer. I've tried to start running in the past only to be thwarted within a week or two by knee pain flare-ups. This time, with these shoes, I've been ok for over two months. I'm using them for road running, including some pretty steep hills and public stairways. I will get another pair when these wear out, and may also try the even squishier road-running Hokas. So happy with all my Hokas!!

I wore my last pair of Cliftons for 500 miles, and then decided to try Nike's new "injury prevention" shoe to see if it made a difference. After about 50 miles of that, I decided to buy a replacement pair of Clifton 6 - and just wore them for the first time today. Ahhhh! It was so nice to have comfortable running shoes again. I love the Clifton 6!

The shoes are very very comfortable.I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2 EE and ordered a 7 1/2 W and they were good, if anything they may be a little bit long but I was afraid a 7 might be to short. They are not TOO big. Didn't have to break them in at all. Very satisfied...a little pricey but satisfied. I also had them the next day, that's how Zappos rolls.....

I have had chronic shin splints since stopping rowing during college due to injuries. I have done everything I can on a daily basis to try and comfort my shins after I run, or even walk the dog. THESE SHOES ARW THE ONLY SHOES I HAVE EVER WORN THAT DO NOT HURT MY SHINS!! I'm talking even during the warm up. I have worn the most expensive Brooks, gotten the best New Balance, all claiming to help with the problems I have had, and they did... but not to this degree. I can't even feel my shins when I'm running anymore. Before (for six years) it felt like my shin bones were splitting every time I ran, now, I can't feel them. I am buying my second pair after only a month of buying my first pair because I want to have a backup!! Highly recommend.

I just got these today, so I haven't worn them yet but the reviews about them running big are true! I wear the bondis for work and do a 10.5 D in those. I got a 10 (my actual normal size, my feet swell a lot at work) and it's a good thing I did because 10.5 would have been huge! The 10s are still a little big! I'm so thankful hokas are a truly wide shoe, it's so hard for me to find a good fit, and I need a wide toe box. I bought these to wear to Disney and I think they are the best option!
