I've run in Hokas for years. Usually the trail versions and the Bondi. I decided I'd give the "race" shoes a try and see what the difference was. Wow, there's a huge difference. Tough to explain other than they propel you so you always feel like you're leaning forward and working less.

I'm a disabled veteran, I've had both my hips replaced and I was experiencing a lot of pain until I tried Hoka brand. It help so much with my hip pain that I'm able to do a half marathon once a cycle(once every seven days) I couldn't have done it with out this shoe! Thank you Hoka.

Like the shoe & the fit but fabric on the toe area of the right shoe is all wrinkled & the material was not stretched to fit the shoe properly & there is to much fabric. I am wearing them for the 2nd time today and it has not changed. Just looks like they were not made properly. I have been buying Hoka products for years & this is the 1st problem I have had with any of their products.

I love Hoka One One. I've tried several of their shoes. I started back on the Bondi 5 and I have been hooked. I jumped to the Clifton 6, then the Rincon, then back to Clifton 7. I finally tried their Elevon 2. I have been happy with all of their plush shoes. However, I hadn't tried one of their racer shoes. I saw the Carbon X on sale, so I decided to try it. It was not for me. While I was clocking faster times, I am 40 years old and I need that extra support the clifton, bondi, and elevon models provide. I am exchanging the Carbon X for the Bondi 7. I just love that Hoka allows you to try their shoes for up to 30 days and if you aren't completely happy with them you can exchange them. I am going back to the Bondi 7. I just love the extra clouds the Bondi provides.

They were on sale, and I love the color combination. I looked to buy a second pair , but I guess the color was discontinued.

My first run with the Hoka shoes was amazing. I had no idea how worn out my old shoes were. The cushioning made my run very enjoyable and pain-free. The trail I run has some gravel and packed dirt And I usually feel all of it. I shaved a whole minute off of my time on a 3.1 mile run. I've only been on two runs what's this point I am very happy with my purchase!!

The recovery sandals from hoka and the cliftons did not reduce my plantar fascitis but after a few months of wearing the carbon x half a size larger with custom molded insoles ($300) i can now walk in flat shoes like vans without pain. No night splint either.
These shoes are rigid in the mid sole and heel. Not too rigid. Great walking shoes. Put at least 200 miles on them walking 28 miles per week. No ankle chaffing, rubbing or toe constriction in the toe box.
Size up half a size for custom insoles.

The Hoka Rincon and the Carbon X shoes changed my life.Since the first pair I purchased I have only wear the Hoka shoes.I had a nasty plantar fasciitis on my left heel, for a long period of time. When started to wear the Hoka shoes I could run again, stand longer, walk easier. My joints feel less stress, especially knees, when I practice physical activities(running, walking, playing tennis, etc).Great engineering, materials and design!I hope to be able to afford to continue buying more of these amazing products. They are not cheap :-)Thank you.
