Very comfortable and light weight shoes. True to fit and pretty stylish. I would definitely get another pair, probably their trail running shoes next.

I had been running in the Tracer 2s and was bummed when I heard they were being discontinued. I have had great results from the Tracers. I was reluctant to switch to the Rincon because it did look a little clunkier than what I was used to. I think I love the Rincon even more than I did the Tracer - same light weight with a bit more structure and more plush. Long run today (12mi) and they were just as fresh at the end as they were at the beginning. I am looking forward to putting some more miles on these.

This shoe was a favorite of many reviewers after its surprise release this year. I see why. I like the Clifton 6, but the Rincon has a bit more personality. It does keep with the narrow-ish fit that seems to typify many Hoka models, and that might be a problem for some, but I think the fit is fairly neutral, typical of Hoka, and mildly supportive. The black/blue color way is really sharp, and the shoe weighs next to nothing. I'm not seeing unusual wear on the sole, and I am waiting to see how many miles it will take before the foam breaks down. Can't speak to either yet. The shoe is a $$ bargain if it holds up. Fit and finish are strong. Laces are definitely too long. The tongue is long enough, and the response of the ride is really enjoyable--cushioned, with some personality--a personality I feel the Clifton 6 lacks. The ride feels "tight" in a good way. This shoe is worth checking out. Others have compared it to the NB Beacon. I don't see it. While I loved the NB Beacon V1 as a daily trainer, this shoe deserves its own category as a "daily racer."

Excellent, slightly wider than other Hoka shoes I’ve used. Amazing blend of cushioning, responsiveness, and light weight. I run faster with same effort in these shoes! 51y, 185lbs runner, maybe 25-35 miles per week.

Very smooth ride. Really responsive. Cushioning is great without any loss of energy. Really positions your foot nicely when moving at a good clip. My orthotics fit well, no break in time needed

What can I say about the Rincon that hasn't already been said? They are extremely lightweight and the cushioning is like running on clouds. I have generally wide feet and I had no issues with width on the Rincon. If you are on the fence of what shoe you should purchase for your daily runs, look no further!

My new favorite shoe. My first pair of Hoka One Ones were the Mach 2's. I really liked them so I was going to buy a second pair when a friend suggested the Rincon. I love the cushion and response it provides. I have suggested the Rincon to every runner I know!

I'm a trail runner and normally running on pavement causes me joint soreness. So far these shoes have done everything a Hoka should with comfort and cushion. And without even trying, I'm continually setting PR's now. The faster you go and can get your stride on the midsole and engage that meta rocker the faster you'll go. They are amazingly light, extremely breathable, and extremely comfortable with minimal break in time. FYI, these are not as cushioned as Clifton 6, but feel more cushioned than Carbon X, Arahi and Gaviota.

I've been a fan of the Hoka trail shoes for quite some time, specifically the Speedgoat. The road shoes have been good but none had the cushion and responsiveness mix that I got in the Speedgoats. The Rincon delivers all that and it is SUPER light. So impressed with this shoe. Keep making it - please!

I switched from Clifton 5 to this shoe and it was a good switch! I mostly wanted a lighter, faster shoe than the Clifton 5 felt. The upper is much lighter for sure, which gives the shoe a lighter feel right off. This makes the upper feel a little less stable than the Clifton, so it's not quite as "foot-hugging" as the Clifton which I wish it had. However, it does make me feel light and fast, and I really like that so can't really complain. The foot strike feel is almost exactly like the Clifton. I'm only a week and a 5K race into these shoes, but if the feel stays this way, I'll keep them for sure!
