This is the third pair I’ve ordered for my boyfriend, who is on his feet all day at work. These are supportive and comfortable where as some other brand name shoes don’t offer the same support for all day wear.

This shoe is amazing! One of the lightest shoes I've had (despite it's size) and very cushiony while also not compromising its responsiveness. I run upwards of 100km a week in the winter to build my base for track season, and the Clifton 6 is an awesome shoe for all types of runner. Would definitely recommend this trainer to anyone.

This is the second pair I've purchased for my dad (his request), who is in his early 70s. He walks about 5 miles every day and loves these shoes.

I'm not a runner, however I suffered bilateral trauma to my feet in an auto accident. Your shoes are the best I have tried to help minimize daily pain in walking. In fact I'm waiting delivery of two more pairs.

Used these sneakers for the NYC marathon and they were great. Padding is great for longer runs and the shoes held up well.

I began April 2019 at 260 lbs and walked in NB shoes. After many miles and dropping Lbs, I began running in Nov 2019. By January 2020 I was running 9 minute miles but was experiencing all the challenges of being 52 and wanting to train. 60 running miles in January, 85 running miles in Feb, and now 125 in March (including another 100 walking miles) I'm sold! I'm now sub-8 minute miles with 6-16 mile routine runs with stairs, tempo/cadence, sprints and this shoe has saved my feet, legs, etc and lets me seriously train. Weighing in at 182lbs now. If my legs are feeling great, I can get more miles out of these shoes, but I can feel them breaking down and starting to impact my legs with just 300+ miles on these shoes. Nothing I've tried on provide me the training comfort that these shoes offer. Some have commented about feeling the sides of the shoe under their feet, but while I do feel them, they have zero impact on my comfort or how my feet feet after a run. My wife is now walking and trotting in these and my runner son has been a long time Hoka devotee.

This shoe offers a balance between cushioning for the pavement and firmness to feel what your foot will do next.

The 6 is the best Clifton in years. I've been running in these since August, and after 300+ miles the soles are finally wearing at the edges. I run 10K about 3x every two weeks, so about 9.3 miles per week.) As a forefoot striker running mostly on pavement, I need great cushioning. I sometimes get soreness after 4.5 miles, but this Clifton is still my favorite shoe since the Clifton 3. They've returned to slightly more generous cushioning and toe box, along with the usual improvements to the liner and laces.

This shoe was purchased for my husband. He runs with hoka so I purchased a second pair for him to use as an everyday shoe. This helps with relieving back pain as well, due to the cushion.

I've had a bad back and sore knees for years. Have large (12.5 inches long) narrow feet (2A is best, B can work). For years I've been buying size 16 2A New Balance 990s because other brands didn't have my size. The after an hour or two of quick walking, my knees usually felt the pounding. A couple month ago, I got another pair of NB and the width is way off again...Typical NB. By chance, I was at REI and put on a pair of Clifton 6 size 15 "regular". My big toe slightly touches but it's tolerable. These Hoka are amazing!! I'm a heal striker. The angled heal minimizes the blow. The soles are like walking on a very thick yoga mat. The jolt when contacting the ground is absorbed. After several long walks, I had minimal knee pain! Amazing! I did try on other Hoka models. They are all too small for me. But the Clifton 6 size 15 for some reason fits! Will buy more! Highly suggest these if you suffer knee and lower back pain!
I'd also recommend:
Not New Balance 990v. Hard sole and size variation

I began running in July of 2019 at the age of 57. These shoes were recommended by my local running store and I honestly had never heard of Hoka. Road, track, beach and treadmill have all been used. Now, 8 months and over 650 miles later I am buying another pair tomorrow. I have not had any foot, ankle, knee, hip or back pain from Day 1. I am sure that there are other running shoes out there as good but my experience has been perfect. With sensible eating and 20-25 miles per week I have lost and kept off 60 plus pounds! Thank you Hoka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I run on average between 20 and 40 miles per week. I have been wearing Brooks for the past 10 years. Every time I try something new, I always find myself back in a pair of Brooks. I picked up the Clifton 6 after a marathon last month and in 2.5 weeks have put nearly 100 miles on them. I beat my PR in a half marathon by 3 minutes in these this past weekend. I am not sure what it is exactly that makes these things so fantastic, but I cannot imagine wearing any other shoe. The cushioning so soft without causing a feeling that I have to work to get out of it with each stride. Actually, the shoe just works with you and seems to help project you forward and makes you want to run faster. And it's so light for as big as it looks. I weighed mine and my size 8.5 weighs 8.5 ounces. If these last at least 400 miles I will be stocking up on these bad boys. I don't always believe the hype, but I am a believer now!

I am extremely hard to fit in a closed shoe because I have only worn sandals for so many years. Finally after trying many these are the first ones that work. I have tried other Hoka's but most are too narrow. These run a little wider than other wide ones which gave me the extra comfort I needed. I am a woman who needs a man's shoe. Also there is enough padding on the bottoms that makes them more comfortable. Worth paying more for comfort. Also they are not too heavy.

Great brand, great shoe, great fit, but the Clifton 6 is not for people with flat feet. The shoe features a hard arch element that feels more like stepping on a plastic coat hanger than a comfort- or support-enhancing feature. Despite a more attractive design and color offering, will have to go back to the Bondi model.

2nd pair of Hokas , this is the most comfortable pair of shoes I ever had. I have a wide foot, and the wide width provides excellent room in the toe box. I am not a runner, the shoe feels cushy to walk. Love these shoes!

I'm a long time Hoka/Clifton runner back to the Clifton 1. Hoka lost their way with the 4 and 5 which felt hard as a rock to me. I was advised that the 6 is back to the soft feel I like and it it true. After three runs I couldn't be happier!!!

This is a men’s shoe, or width anyway. When I put it on it was huge. And I didn’t find this color in the “women’s” section. Very comfortable though, can’t wait for the women’s to come in!!

These felt perfect right out of the box. I have a very wide foot so shoes are hard to find. These fit the bill! The footbed is very comfortable.
