When the shoes were delivered, I immediately opened the box to look at the sneakers. Much to my surprise they were not new, with the shoelaces tied, the back heel slightly dirty and with minor scuff marks.

This is my 3rd pair of Brooks, I bought these for work, not comfortable at all. Very dissappointed

The shoe is called a walker but it's very uncomfortable to walk for more than a mile for being so narrow. I would not order it again.

Unwearable as is the medium size I usually wear. You've changed the last and design leading to agonizing pain for me. I will be looking for other brands after many a year of patronizing yours.

I ordered two pair of these shoes. They both squeaked really bad. I ordered them 1/2 size bigger as recommended, but they were too short, and I had to reorder a whole size bigger. I loved the original Addiction walker, but I dislike the 2nd edition. The sole has skinny grooves, which catch salt and tiny stones, which I then have to take 10 minutes to pick out before I walk on my treadmill everyday. I did not have that problem with the original Addiction walker shoe.

They just feel so stiff and heavy. I wish I could return them. I've tried to walk twice and I'm not too happy with them and I love Brooks. All my running shoes were Brooks but I can't run anymore. I'm sad.

My first 2 Addiction Walkers were amazing: they cured my plantar fasciatis within a week. They were perfect. But my new pair actually hurts my feet. I have bought insoles and other padding to help but by the end of the day, the balls of my feet ache and the pain lasts for 2 days! I stopped wearing them and wear my second ones even though they are starting to look bad. I noticed that my new pair is made in Viet Nam and the 2 first ones were made in China. Why did you change them?! Bad move! Should I take them back to the store (Jennie's) ?

I was REALLY hoping it was just me. My last pair not only didn't last as long, I can usually expect at least 3 months of less foot pain. Not this time. My feet ache like I've never bought new shoes. I am brokenhearted! being a true "Addict" to these shoes. The thought of having to spend my heard earned money on something I don't trust or know makes me cringe. Please fix what you broke and bring back my pain free days!

I've been wearing Brooks Walker 7.5 wide for about twenty years now and, as a nurse who works 12 -18 hours per shift, I am on my feet a lot. For years this has been my "go to shoe" for work and play, but now I have to find a new shoe and new brand because the changes you made are awful!!! Gone is the comfort, great support, and long wearing Brooks Walker! What I have now are two pairs of two month old 7.5 W Brooks Walker 2.0s that have holes on the inside of the big and little toes of all four shoes, poor outside foot support with wearing on the soles to prove it, and broken down heels (because even using a shoe horn with the wide width the heel folds). I traditionally buy 9-12 pairs per year, changing shoes every 3-4 months depending on hours worked, but I won't be buying anymore Brooks Walker 2.0.!!! Please let me know if you ever go back to the quality of shoes you made in the past!

I have worn and loved the Addiction Walker for many years...size 9.5 Narrow. I ordered the Addiction Walker 2 in the same size a few months ago and I am very disappointed in this shoe. My foot slides forward and compresses my toes. I've tried wearing a thicker sock but that has not corrected the fit. Can you just bring back the former shoe??!!

I am a long time fan of Brooks Addiction Walkers. The Addiction 2s are great shoes. The pair I received, (and have already returned) however, was defective in a major way and from the moment I opened the box, I could tell they had already been returned at least once. I tried them on and walked a few feet over a carpeted floor. The squeak was so loud there was no way I could wear them. The Addiction Walkers 2 run very small but that's easily fixed by buying a whole size larger than usual, as I did when I bought those I have just returned.

I loved the old Addiction Walker, and I went everywhere in them--I had both strap and tie. I was excited to try the Addiction Walker 2, but it hurt the back of my ankle so much. No matter how thick the socks were that I wore with them, I was in pain. Big blisters. I even tried them, waited for the blisters to heal, and tried them again. No luck. Gosh, I thought high heels were bad... There's no way I can even walk a block in these, and now the old ones aren't even on the website anymore. Ebay, here I come.

There is a saying "Don't fix it if it is not broken". Brooks Addiction walker is a perfect example. The original Addiction walker was one of the best shoes. I have been using that for more than 15 years. When I wanted to order a new pair and saw all the negative reviews I was apprehensive. But wanted to try anyway. Within 5 minutes I realized that this is not going to work. Returning it. Will research all brands to find something suitable. The person who authorized this change did a big disservice to the company as well as to the consumers.

They claim to be padded and supportive, they were neither. Uncomfortable. Ugly big chunky plastic soles.
