It is not narrow enough in the heel! You have been cheating up for several years now. I mean the heels are getting wider and there is significant slippage unless I wear very thick socks. Even then they can slip. Also, why do you have to make them look like old lady orthopaedic shoes? Why can?t you make them look more sporty with some fun color choices? I have a very difficult time finding shoes that really fit my narrow heeled feet. Yours have consistently been the best and most comfortable until the last few years. Please review the sizing and make the walking shoes as appealing as the running shoes.

I bought these shoes specifically for work expecting them to work well due to these shoes being "slip resistant". THESE SHOES ARE NOT SLIP RESISTANT. I almost fell on my second day of work because the floor was the tiniest bit wet. Very disappointed.

I prefer a leather or cloth shoe to the plastic shoe this model is. They squeak when I walk. It's embarrassing.

Ii was super excited in thinking I had picked the right Brooks shoe as a daily wear. I have Plantar Fasciitis and Pronation. When trying the shoes they were so stiff inserted of offering support and added comfort for my knees which are bad, I felt like I was walking g like Frakenstien. Very stiff legged. I wore them for a short time to get a true feel for them. The next day my back ached and well as my legs. They were not tge shoe for me.and as far as moderately cushioned , I felt they were hard.

I love Brooks. I have great running shoes from them and was hoping to find a great and comfortable work (slip resistant) shoe from them as well. Unfortunately this was not it for me. The shoe is all leather and is very sturdy. The ?slip resistance? is not up to par to use behind a bar/food service environment, you will slip. Additionally, while they are very sturdy they take a LOT to break in to actually be able to move with your feet comfortably. I was in more pain than usual at the end of my shift every weekend day which I was hoping a great pair of Brooks would alleviate. These are not like their running shoes. If you do order these and already have a pair of Brooks, size up a half size.

The shoes are heavy, not flexible when you are walking and uncomfortable. I do not recommend these shoes.

I have a pair of bone color addiction walkers several years old. They are the best but worn out. I ordered the "new" one in Black as a neutral color is not available.
The new one does not fit the same compared to the previous version, same size 10. Very stiff, but worst of all is the SQUEAK. Even if I was alone the squeaking would drive me crazy. I am returning them and sadly will have to find another walker that is better made. I don't mind the cost but I expect some quality in the material. Disappointed.

So I've been working in service industry for over 17 years now, and it's hard on the feet. I love Brooks for their running shoes, and I have been wearing them for years now. I was excited to see this shoe and figured I'd try them for work I bartend and I waitress, so I do a lot of standing and walking, and I'm in and out of the kitchen often so I figured the slip resistant would help... Unfortunately these shoes didn't do it for me. I've been wearing them for about three months. The quality isn't there, the rubber pieces at the tip of the toe on the outside of the shoe separated and stick straight out. They are not slip resistant at all, I've almost done the splits with these on more than once... The shiny material makes them look really cheap. My feet hurt so bad I've resorted to wearing my old shoes again until my new ones come.. I'm just really disappointed in them. I will continue to buy their running shoes, but not shoes for work.

This is hands down the ugliest shoe I have ever seen in my life. Must we punish walkers?

Purchased these hoping they?d be better than my Hokas and they weren?t. I have a wide foot and was looking forward to trying their extra wide size as Hoka doesn?t offer it in womens sizes. The toe box was too narrow for me and squished my foot anyway. Even the normal wide with Hoka was better fitting than these. They also felt awkward to walk in when I tested them at home, so unfortunately this shoe was a no go for me.

I do not run, I got the Brooks because I work on my feet all day and I have a pair of Ghost that are very comfortable, but I needed a solid black pair for work I thought the walking shoes would be comfortable but they are not comfortable. I was disappointed in the Walker 2

K bought a Men's Addiction Walker. It had a strong chemical smell. I a8lirrd out the shoes for nearly two weeks in a separate. Whrn the odor finally disapated I went for a walk. Unfortunately they did not fit snd hurt my feet . There were indentations on the bridge of my feet. Also the shoes were much heavier than what I usua)ly wear.
Sorry for such a negative review. The customer service was excellent. Too bad the shoes didn't fit.sjoes came with odor and did not

I am a restaurant server and overall the shoes feel decent on my feet. I do have custom orthotics that fit well inside the shoes. However, the Brooks Addiction nonslip shoes are horrible from the nonslip aspect. They are not nonslip at all and I have almost fallen several times as a result. I thought they would ?break in? so I didn?t want to give up on them so quickly as the shoes I used to wear Vionic Pros are not being made anymore. If you need nonslip shoes, stay away from these. Sorry Brooks, but you need to do better. Even crappy work Sketchers are better nonslip shoes.
