I have worn the Addiction version for many years and never had a speck of trouble with them. Always the same fit (8.5 N) and the same great support for walking 4 to 5 miles a day. The new version, however, had to be ordered in a 9 N and is now causing a problem with my left ankle as there does not seem to be the same support as the previous version. I am very bummed as it is so hard to find comfortable sneakers. Wish you hadn't messed with a good thing. The old version was fine. You had a good thing going. Am considering returning them and trying other brands for better quality support.

It's really unfair for me to rate the shoes because they were for my daughter (nurse).

I have worn the Brooks Walker for years and loved the support and comfort. These shoes felt short even though I went 1/2 size up. They just didn't have the support across the instep and heel area that I found in my old Brooks Walkers.

My third pair over last three years. First pair like this made me feel like I was walking stronger, didn't get so tired. But it rained and they shrank too soon! Had to have a shoemaker stretch them back. So next tried waterproof ones for running but they weren't as good at supporting and I got blisters and wore hole in end of one even though same size as before. My grey winter walkers have just finished their second year and are finally worn in same place on front of right shoe. Will get a new air in the fall. As for this pair, I did just add some arch supporters as I think I need those. I suggest you build some in.

These shoes are very comfortable and supportive for me, with the exception of the toe box. I have foot and ankle issues, and I have a very difficult time finding shoes that I can wear all day long, being on my feet 12+ hours per day as a teacher. I have alternated between the Brooks Addiction 2 and New Balance 928 for quite some time. The Addiction 2's feel a little more flexible and "hug" my foot better, but the squished toe feeling has made me decide to go back to the New Balance. I have been measured by an orthotics specialist as a 10.5 medium, and this seems to be the correct size for me in the Addiction 2 as they are long enough and wide enough, but my toes still feel cramped. Going up half a size would make the rest of the shoe too large. I believe the issue is a shallow toe box and my big toe is hitting the top of the shoe. It gets a little better after wearing them for 2 weeks or so. It's a disappointment, because I think these are better looking than the New Balance 928v3, but I am going to go back to the New Balance for the toe room. I wish Brooks would consider all the reviews mentioning the toe box and modify it just a bit. If that happens, I will come back and try them again.

i purchased these through an on-line shoe "store" (unfortunatley I did not know I could buy them direct). The Left one is fine. The right one needs arch support--after walking for about 1.5 miles, my right foot turns in, causing muscle pain on the inner top, lower ankle, and my hip to be out of alignment. Brooks was highly recommended by many people. If the right sneaker fit the same as the left, I'd give 5 stars. Do you have any suggestions on how to alleviate this?

I wish I could give this shoe a 5 star rating like the old one, but the style Chang is Not the quality of the old Addiction Walker. I do not have as much support as the older model and the design is not as attractive. Looks cheap. I've worn this shoe for many years And could always rate it a 5 star walker. 4 stars for this style.

I am not a runner but I walk & stand on concrete 8-10hr a day. 8000-12000 steps. I have worn Walker I they lasted better than these Walker II. I have had them maybe 6 months Now looking for another brand of shoes.

The left foot fits fine. The right foot needs arch support. Very unhappy with it because it gives me ankle pain and causes my hip to be out of alignment.

I have purchased this shoe several times. However, this time, it seems to be running smaller. I really should have gotten a half size larger, I think.

They're a little tight in the toe box area. Not really a fan.

There are OK, but not great. However, I will keep them and not return them, but I need to find something with more cushion.

I like the new shoe better. I wear custom orthotics and was delighted to see the return of a soften shoe bed when I take out the inner sole. When I put my orthotics in which are somewhat cushioned it adds to my comfort. The older version was hard and I felt the hardness. I agree they must have lowered the top of the shoe and that is a problem for me when my foot inevitably swells later in the day, even with compression socks. Over all I like the new shoe and it's more stylish look. I hope the brown suede is returned in the men's line as I have ordered both men and women's shoes in this line.

It's still a great walking and live-in casual shoe, indispensable for my troubled feet. I've bought multiple pairs in all 3 Women's colors for at least 20 years. I was very disappointed by the absence of the Bone color in my size, 7.5 D, both at Brooks' and all other online stores I've searched. I would be glad to know when that color become available again--or if it never will, so I can try another brand.

I'm not a runner but had a serious injury to both my feet. I'm very active and chose physical therapy over surgery. My podiatrist suggested these shoes. And they have made a real difference for me.

I have been buying Brooks for several years and this new Addiction 2 has hurt my feet horribly. Leather doesn't seem to soften up like the Addiction 1

I have worn these shoes for over 20 years. They have always been perfect for me. I got the new design and they are to narrow and to short ! I also purchased a black pair in the winter and had to send them back. What the heck is going on with these shoes ?! I am going to return these and order a half size bigger and hope work. We will see.

Fit perfectly. These shoes are very comfortable. This is probably my 5th pair. This new version is just as good as the old. Remains my favorite shoe.

Fantastic for walking. I've been logging a lot of miles during COVID lockdown and my running shoes- eventually- weren't providing enough support. These provide that plus enough "squish" to be really comfortable.
