I am soooo disappointed in this shoe. It is not nearly as well made as the former style and already has a hole where the top tie is. The former style was well enough made that I could wear it comfortably for work, for church or for hiking... It fit all occasions. The striped sides on this one don't work as well. It was dressier in style than this one. The old ones had a strong piece for that tie that never ripped. I have gotten bruises where this one cuts in under my ankle bone. They also squeak when I walk. I have looked all over the internet for a pair of the former ones but none exist. I have purchased 3 pairs a year for many years and they always fit well and were comfortable and lasted, and now I have to search for a new shoe from another brand. I would come back to Brooks if you brought the old style back. I spoke with my podiatrist and he told me many of his patients are not satisfied with them either. I stumbled on this review by accident and felt Hopeful in writing it that you would bring back the former style. Thank you for listening.

Love them ! Be better if they could have air holes On the inside of both shoes, I took mine to shoe repair guy to get air holes put in them .

I have he'll Spurs and work seven hour days on my feet these shoes work so well for my needs. The only down fall is the price. I'd like to replace them every3 months just to insure the best comfort but can't afford that.

Super comfortable stable shoe. I have arthritis and neuropathy and can easily wear these shoes all day.

They are so comfortable and my feet do not hurt after standing on my feet during my clinical rotations in nursing school. I did have to purchase a 1/2 sizer bigger because they seem to run small.

Absolutely love them-don't change a thing! They give me the support I need, while also having just the right amount of cushioning to be comfortable, and the toebox area is much appreciated!
