So I've been working in service industry for over 17 years now, and it's hard on the feet. I love Brooks for their running shoes, and I have been wearing them for years now. I was excited to see this shoe and figured I'd try them for work I bartend and I waitress, so I do a lot of standing and walking, and I'm in and out of the kitchen often so I figured the slip resistant would help... Unfortunately these shoes didn't do it for me. I've been wearing them for about three months. The quality isn't there, the rubber pieces at the tip of the toe on the outside of the shoe separated and stick straight out. They are not slip resistant at all, I've almost done the splits with these on more than once... The shiny material makes them look really cheap. My feet hurt so bad I've resorted to wearing my old shoes again until my new ones come.. I'm just really disappointed in them. I will continue to buy their running shoes, but not shoes for work.

I am not a runner but a walker and have much difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable after a short break in time. I this is my second pair of Brooks and they get more and more comfortable and hold up well!

I wear an AFO prosthetic brace and the only shoe that fits is Addiction by Brook Running. I used to have to purchase two pairs in order to accommodate the AFO, but with Brook Running the fit is perfect for both left and right shoes. They are sturdy and attractive - a combination that is hard to find. Thank you Brook Running.

Good but not great. I purposely waited 6 months to write this review so that I can be as honest as possible. This shoe is good but not the best. I'm looking to see if I can find another shoe to help with my pain since this doesn't totally relieve my pain. I stand long hours on my feet in an outpatient clinic and I was hoping for this shoe to greatly relive my pain to like a 3/10 but even with this shoe my pain is still a 6/7 out of 10 especially after standing for the whole day. I am very flat footed and have a low arch so that's why I was excited to buy this shoe. I'm not saying it doesn't work, I'm just saying its not as effective for my feet. I'll just keep looking for another shoe. Hope this helps somebody.

Very comfortable and dependable walking shoes, I really like them.

Soooo comfortable immediately. Great support and cushioning. I wear them for work and love the way look, I purchased them in white. Also, I needed to find slip resistant shoes and these fit the bill!

Im a veterinarian and on my feet all day. These shoes are great for foot support and protection.

Shoes are great. I like that it comes in wide width. A little heavier than i expected but so far so good and I know it will improve my overall quality in walking and balance.

I love this shoe (and the company behind the shoe)! Because I'm always cold, I need a sneaker that is not mesh, and this one is perfect besides having perfect support. I'm sure the same shoe only with the velcro straps would be much faster to put on, but I was too vain to purchase those. I could easily see someone with either a nursing or waitress profession (or other profession that spends a lot of time on your feet) buying the velcro straps, but I'm just a 68-year-old woman and I thought the velcro would make me look older. Please don't stop selling the velcro version of the same shoe though, because that's my next purchase! I purchased a wide shoe, and I loved how Brooks helped with sizing by comparing shoe sizes of other brands.

They arent slip resistant and they are heavy.

Hello, I have been wearing these sneakers for many years. I have flat feet and they are the most comfortable sneaker I have ever owned. I buy a white and black pair every two years. Please never stop making them. I am not a runner just a walker. They are so good to my feet!!

I've worn Addiction Walkers for 4 years. Great shoe. But the latest one I ordered didn't fit as well, same size, but they seemed to be loose. And I knew a smaller size would not be big enough. I would recommend the shoe to anybody. I wear them to stand/walk, not run.

These shoes really help my foot pains.
