I really wanted to like these. It is so hard to find a size 12 in a narrow width. The length was good, but my heels slipped up and down, even with the shoes tied uncomfortably tight. Also, it felt like my feet sat too deeply in the shoes. Perhaps they are made to take another inner sole.

These shoes feel like a dream and I've walked many miles since I got them. However, the first time around Zappos sent me dirty shoes, they had clearly been worn outside. Their returns are not as easy as they were years ago, and I am pretty disappointed. They used to enclose a return label, but because I was sent dirty shoes that were clearly used, I had to call them which is never convenient. If I am paying this amount for shoes I expect them to be brand new. I won't order from Zappos again, seems like they don't check items that were returned to make sure they are fine to sell. If I wanted used shoes, I would go to the thrift store. Zappos did make it right, but it should not happen in the first place.

These shoes were just what I for hoped for, except they squeaked. I contacted Brooks, and they suggested I unlace them and let them air out for 24 hrs. It didn't help, so 'm returning them.

Did not fit particularly well and is not especially comfortable, compared to older versions that I have bought over the years. In addition, these shoes make a terrible squeaking noise when you walk, and it's not worth waiting to see if the noise fades with time. I returned them.

Too heavy. Too hot.

Great shoe, just a little too stiff and confining. It's a great shoe for the person who wants absolutely no movement within the shoe. Fit was accurate. I wear a 10.5 N in dress shoes, but in this brand, I'm an 11 N or M in this brand. Narrow would have been too tight.

These have too little cushion in the heel for me. My lower back is completely fused and I found these hurt my back.

I have had purchased Brooks Walker before. These shoes were truly a disappointment. It is not a show that I would walk five miles in like my previous Brooks walker. It's totally far from the mark of a good walking shoe. The shoes did not make my feet happy. I need happy feet to walk.

I have incredibly flat feet. At work, I wear Dankos pro lites, the only shoes that seem to work. But for walking, I obviously need something more secure. Enter the walking addictions. Are they stylish? No. Do they support my feet in all the right ways while getting a walk in? Absolutely. I almost love how ugly they are - I probably won't be wearing them out, so they'll last for my walks. I bought the black and since I'm in-between sizes (8.5 -9) I went with the larger size, since that is which reviewers recommended. Glad I did. I found the medium width adequate for my feet (which also feature a protruding bump below the small toes on each side.) I don't require an orthotic so I can't speak on those with these shoes. For me, they're great as is. Can't loose with Zappos. If they're not what you're needing, send em back!
