I have been wearing this shoe for about 10 years. The change they made last year has caused problems in my left foot. I have moved on to a new brand.

These are not the same shoe as they used to be. The support is different and they are not comfortable on my feet, in fact they hurt my feet when I where them. I was hoping they would still be the same support as the former brooks addiction walker shoes. I do like the tread design better. I think they are a little better on wet surfaces than the old design was. The new insole is soft, but it does not conform to your feet like the old design cloud insole did. I have bought many pairs of brooks addiction walker shoes, but I will not be buying these again. They do not work for me.

For some reason Brooks always gives me shin splints. This is my third pair of walking or running shoes over 20 years and always the same issue. Within a couple of days severe shin splint. Just one of those things I guess

This is a very stiff shoe! No cushion whatsoever. Not what you would expect from Brooks brand. Work boots are far more comfortable than this "walking" shoe. Very disappointing product.

Not crazy about this pair of shoes, have had dyad walkers and addiction walkers in the past that were terrific but this pair is not agreeing with my feet. I am going to give it some more time before I move on to something else.

I've always been a Brooks footwear fan. I wore their running shoes for 14 years of Marine Corps service, putting many miles on each pair without issue. I bought these addition walkers 2's thinking it was a solid investment as I now work as a civilian standing 8-10 hours a day. The shoes have destroyed my feet. Specifically, heel pain....and lots of it. Now I must soak my heels in an ice bath daily to fix the issue. I caution anyone who thinks these shoes will be good for long periods of standing, because they are not. Stick with the adrenaline version.

Comfortable but these shoes are the ugliest shoes on their website. Better options out there. Unless you're digging the whole nursing home patient look.

Very disappointed in this shoe. Nothing like the addiction walker 1 . If I could give it a minus I would. Ordered the 4 eeee and it still is so narrow in front it damaged my foot to the point I had to visit a podiatrist. The addiction 1 was my favorite all time shoe for long walks . I will not be ordering Brooks again.

I use these shoes for work. I work 12 hours a day on my feet all day. This new model is very stiff and hard. No cushion or arch support. My feet are killing everyday after work. Ive worn brooks for years now and have never had this problem before. Please make theses shoes like the previous model.

They hurt my knee after 15 miles of walking. Can't wear them anymore. It took a week for the pain in my knee to go away. I have never had an issue using the beasts so I thought this support shoe would be as good. Very disappointed

I have been wearing the Addiction Walkers for a number of years now, and noticed the new version. I bought a pair to try. Suffice to say, sometimes new and improved is not better. After wearing these for the better part of the day, I can't wait to get them off. They seem stiff, no arch support (to me, anyway), and just generally uncomfortable. I have been wearing my old ones to the point where they are falling apart and only wear the A2s when necessary, which at this point in time is few and far between.

I used these for three days and started having serious back pain. Went back to my old walking shoes and after a week it went away. These aren't the right shoes for me.

Addiction Walker 2--Too bad they have updated this shoe. The store assured me I could break them in. No such luck. The sides of the shoe around the ankle are higher and rub my ankle. There are seams on the inside of the shoe that weren't there in the first version that rub my heel. The update makes the shoe unwearable after the original Addiction Walker had solved a foot problem I'd had for years. I will have to find a new brand of walkers.

After a few months of walking, the Brooks Walker 2 created blisters on my feet. Time to try another walking shoe.
