I've worn these shoes for years but the new version hurts my toes with the same size I've always worn. Keep hoping it's just the new wear but not getting any better.

'One-star' is not an accurate assessment but there doesn't seem to be any way to choose N/A. The shoes are too small and I can't wear them. I ordered size 8 1/2 because that was the size of my previous shoes (Etonic) although I understand of course that sizes do vary between different manufacturers. In any case, I appreciate your Happy Feet policy (or whatever it's called) and I will be returning them.

I've been buying these shoes for 15 yrs. I loved them and recommended them to everyone. Just bought a new pair and was shocked. Negatives: The shoe changed. Harder (stiff) soles... and slip prone (smoother). Not for snow states. Slightly smaller toe box. Walkers need a little give in the toe box area. If you are on you feet all day this isn't the shoe for you. Positive: Style upgrade. I would not recommend these shoes going forward.

The Brooks Addiction was my favorite shoe for years. It had great padding good arch support with heavy duty leather. Sometime in 2021 Brooks changed the specifications for these shoes. The new version has cheap looking stamped-out leather. It is also a lighter weight shoe without the padding of the original version. Much less protection for your feet. What a disappointment.

Unfortunately I had to return them as the fit was terrible, which surprised me in that I wear the running shoe.

This was my 4th or 5th pair of Brooks Addiction walkers. Used to order 8 1/2 then went up to 9 but these size 9s were huge. Much bigger than the last two 9s. I even put them sole to sole and it’s visibly obvious something is wrong. Wish Brooks sizing was more consistent.

Had to return them since after 15+ years of wearing these shoes they are no longer true to size. Another victim of shrinkflation.

The tounge of these shoes is faulty, either in design or material. It makes a squeaking noise so loud, my wife refuses to walk with me.

The shoes seemed quite comfortable at first but they are falling apart at the toes. The rubber covering has come loose. I would like a refund or new pair of shoes. I've ordered from Zappos for many years and have always been pleased with the products. Please let me know what I need to do to return the shoes. Thank you!

After a lot of research, I ended up getting these Addiction Walker 2’s. A lot of reviews were for and against this product and I have to say these shoes suck. Not comfortable. The description made me think these would be decent but not in the slightest. I heard that the first iteration was better and I’d say it probably is considering how bad this version is. Consider Brooks if it’s running shoes only.

Research had these at the top of the walking shoe list for plantar fasciitis, flat feet & heel support. I cannot tell because they were too long & too wide. I wear an 8 regular but my foot is flatter & size 8 is now too short, so I went up a 1/2 size. With these 8.5 I had a thumb & forefinger space before the shoe tip. They also had space on the side that made the show pucker. Lastly, I couldn't get those darn laces to stay tied. I have no idea how other brands will fit either.

I was upset excited because I have a pair of brooks shoes for my everyday use and wanted a pair of them with the same comfort but just something I can use for work as a server. I have to go into and out of the kitchen multiple times a day and every time I walked into the kitchen it felt like I was on ice. Needless to say I'm rather disappointed. Why can I find any comfortable shoes that do half way decent and being slip resistant.

Trash ? I didn’t actually believe the reviews for these could be true, but they are. They are so cheap and low quality, it really makes me question Brooks as a company allowing this to be sold. The non slip is so in effective I slip all the time. Do yourself a favor and go buys some quality shoes.

Unfortunately, this shoe was a bad choice for me. It felt like I had a 2x4 strapped to my foot. I broke the shoe in over two weeks, but it never felt right. Near blister on my right heel, bruise on my left second toe, and always stiff.

My old pair of Brooks walking shoes are better than a new pair. The material didn't feel like leather. The bridge of my toes were too tight and they squeeked. Sent them back.
