The 1 & 2 Star reviewes are legit. Tight fitting and stiff. Not worth attempting to break them in. If you have any kind of foot conditions, I wouldn?t recommend these. I will be returning them soon. I have bought and recommend the Glycerin GTS 21?s. Much better comfort.

They look good and were comfortable but started to fall apart within 10 days. Tried to get ahold of Brooks and no response

I have purchased several Brooks sneakers in the past with great results. However these were extremely uncomfortable from the start and after giving some time for them to break in. They were still unacceptable. They went back. I needed some shoes for work that were fully leather. Now i am gonna try a different brand

Hurt my back after a day of wearing and we're NOT SLIP RESISTANT i could pretty much slide in a water spill not okay, DO NOT LABEL A SHOE SLIP RESISTANT if it's not!! I trusted brooks and they have completely failed on this one!!

I have been wearing Brooks Addiction for about 25 years due to its comfort and support. This is the first time I have been disappointed. The upper on this model is stiff and uncomfortable. Plus, they are noisy - they squeak as I walk. What have you done with the Addiction models I loved in the past, Brooks?

The old one was way better.

I have worked in these for more than 8 hours on my feet for 3 days, not in sucession, but several days apart. The shoes are very uncomfotable, with my left foot developing a callus on the bottom.

I ordered a 14 wide and these shoes are way too narrow. I have been trying to break into them for about two weeks with no luck. They were ordered for work, due to the constant standing, walking, but now looks like I'll have to order another pair, elsewhere.

I've worn these shoes for years but the new version hurts my toes with the same size I've always worn. Keep hoping it's just the new wear but not getting any better.

'One-star' is not an accurate assessment but there doesn't seem to be any way to choose N/A. The shoes are too small and I can't wear them. I ordered size 8 1/2 because that was the size of my previous shoes (Etonic) although I understand of course that sizes do vary between different manufacturers. In any case, I appreciate your Happy Feet policy (or whatever it's called) and I will be returning them.

I've been buying these shoes for 15 yrs. I loved them and recommended them to everyone. Just bought a new pair and was shocked. Negatives: The shoe changed. Harder (stiff) soles... and slip prone (smoother). Not for snow states. Slightly smaller toe box. Walkers need a little give in the toe box area. If you are on you feet all day this isn't the shoe for you. Positive: Style upgrade. I would not recommend these shoes going forward.

The Brooks Addiction was my favorite shoe for years. It had great padding good arch support with heavy duty leather. Sometime in 2021 Brooks changed the specifications for these shoes. The new version has cheap looking stamped-out leather. It is also a lighter weight shoe without the padding of the original version. Much less protection for your feet. What a disappointment.

Unfortunately I had to return them as the fit was terrible, which surprised me in that I wear the running shoe.
