I prefer the leather uppers and the style of the original Walkers. The Walker has been my go to shoe for years. That may change now with the Walker 2. I certainly would not have purchased the Walker 2 if the original had still been available!

OK walker shoe. Left heal pain began anew after using the Walker "2" for about 3 weeks. More pain than off-the-shelf NB 1.0. Yes, size your W V2 @ least one size bigger than normal shoes in your possession. I may try a running shoe next time to use as a walker. "Waxed" laces are nice. Nice moderate tread for walking.

Shoes are 1/2 of what I was looking for . They give me the support but not so much cushion. These are my 3rd pair of Brooks. I have the Anthem 2 and the Anthem 3. The 3's are my favorite. I'm a 72 year old man. 5'7 145 lbs. I walk an average of 2 to 3 miles daily on asphalt roads in a neighborhood that is a mix of flats and hills. I bought the walkers in anticipation of wearing them as a comfortable shoe when I wanted something that didn't look like a tennis shoe. I think the sacrifice in comfort/cushion comes from the hard sole.

Where is the Addiction Walker? I much prefer the previous Addiction version to this new one. Every aspect...overall comfort, support, look, assortment of colors is lacking in the new Addiction Two as compared to the original Addiction. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

Not as high quality as the Brooks shoes they replaced. Don't seem to have the overall support of my feet like the previous they replaced. Disappointed.

I have been wearing the Addiction Walker for over 8 years now (two pairs a year) and loved them. Foot doctor recommended them for pronation problems. The new Walker 2 is not the same shoe unfortunately. It has less support and the sole is not so non-slip anymore either. And what happened to the brown color the original walker had?!! As usual the price goes up ($10 more) and the quality goes down. I will have to look for another brand shoe, I guess.

Sadly, this latest iteration of the Addiction line, the "2" does not compare favorably with the Addiction "1" or original Addiction that was so beloved by this wearer. The 2 is a decent piece of quality footwear but not nearly as good as the Addiction "1." The 2 is a snugger fit for sure, though it runs true to size. It is less substantial and a little lighter than its predecessor. The bottom flatter and less grooved. A minus for this reviewer. Overall, the 2 is made with less material. For example, the tongue is much smaller and less cushioned and comfortable than the "1." Are there any original Addiction left in my size, 9.5 D? Would gladly pay double what they cost me in 2019! The Addiction 2 is good high quality footwear, it just doesn't compare with the original Addiction.

Not much padding and my toes feel like they are bottoming out on the walking surface, shoe is very hot to wear. Shoes does look nice, is light weight, but does not have a durable feel. I own two other pairs of Brooks and for some this might be a good shoe, just not for me.

Good shoe, but very tight in width compared to the same sized running shoe I bought previously.

My husband loved the original shoe but he feels this shoe doesn't feel the same in the insole. He says it doesn't give him as much support as the other shoe, and doesn't feel it is as well made.

Show would be more comfortable, as would the Brooks Addiction 14, if they had the Brooks Addiction 13 insoles. Indeed, I was going to send both shoes back but the customer support staff at Brooks was able to send me two Brooks Addiction 13 insoles. Hopefully, future additions of these shoes will have the more comfortable insoles.

Comfort is good but I sound like I'm walking on flat tires. Every step on both feet I hear a noise in each shoe that sounds like flat tires. Not worth the price I paid. My old pair was worth the price.

Fits well! I use the shoe for travel on rainy or during inclement weather. Your mesh shoes have definite limitations in challenging weather. Brooks are the best fitting shoes for narrow feet. I prefer Brooks to new balance for comfort. I preferred the brown suede avalanche but you no longer made it so I had to get the black leather. The white leather is to garnish for travel purposes.

This would be a great everyday shoe for my husband but the shoe is too short. He wears a size 15 and his old size 15 New Balance shoes are long enough, as are the other size 15 shoes he is trying on. The Brooks was the most comfortable and supportive except for the length.

Heads up, the non-black shoe is actually WHITE, NOT GREY. There is no name for Color #142, and when photographed against a white background the shoe appears grey. I just received the shoe in the mail and it is indeed white, and this has been confirmed with a customer service representative on the phone. I was very excited on receiving a grey walker and now I am disappointed.

I've worn pairs the original version Addiction Walker shoes for many years, always 10.5 size. I ordered the new version, only because they don't have the original anymore. The new version 2 runs much smaller in size - my toe hit the front, and holding old and new side by side, the new version was 3/8 to 1/2 inch shorter. I had to return them, and don't plan on ordering a new pair unless I can find a local shoe shop that has them in stock so I can try them on.

The Shoe doesn't seem to be as wide as my previous pairs. This is causing me discomfort wearing them all day at work. Sorry to see the brown leather ones no longer sold.
