The new sole seems to be less ridge than the old style sole. I can feel smaller debris under foot.

I have bought about 14 pairs of these over the years! this new brand the little flap on the end of the toe has come unglued, and has flopped out !! kind of unattractive!! Otherwise I believe they are an incredible shoe!!!

The Addiction Walker I bought and wore for years was perfect. I could put new ones on out of the box and start walking. The new edition is a comfortable shoe, but not for walking. The sole, especially under the heel, is too stiff. Instead of trying to break them in, I returned them to the retailer.

The shoes are great for support and walking and durability. The problem is the black is rubbing off and staining my white socks. Is there something we can do to stop the color from bleeding ?

Looks better than 1st gen but not as cushioning/supportive of a shoe. I'm a big guy that works on his feet about 10 hours/day. With original moon shoes, no pain and comfortable for at least 6 months then starts to break down. New model after a couple weeks, am having plantar fasciitis and ankle discomfort unlike 1st gen.

More stylish than the original, however the podiatrist was not impressed as the support is not there as in the original. If a person needs support for walking, the original was a much better shoe.

Addiction Walker 2 is ok, the first model was better and had better support. Not worth the money.

I have work Books Walkers for several years and purchased current pair some 4 weeks ago and worn most days. Soles far more rigid than previous pairs, making longer walks almost uncomfortable, Also less slip resistant. Very disappointing.

The heal of the insole kinda hurt my heal. I only use them for walking and it isn't that comfortable or supportive. Not sure what I can do because I have worn them for about a week.

I had high hopes for these shoes based on many reviews. However they seem to run small. I ordered my normal size that has been OK for other shoe brands. These were not comfortable the moment I tried them on. The length seemed short and the width too narrow. They were also difficult to get on. They seemed to be well made but I am not sure what size would work for me.

Narrow and still have serious pressure points that are painful while working. Heel, big toe joint, and the center of my feet hurts after about 3 hours of wearing, wouldn't recommend.

These shoes seems to be falling apart much faster than even the cheapest shoes I've had. They're also causing my feet to hurt quite a bit. I've tried them for several weeks now and they unfortunately cannot be returned due to them falling apart already. I find that the slip resistant is fairly decent, and spills clean off them well. I do work inside in a pharmacy so the conditions aren't super rough. The rigid sole and support is nice when my feet aren't in pain.

They squeak! I've been buying Brooks shoes for years. Always liked them. I'm disappointed in these. Whenever I walk or just move my feet, they squeak.

I bought these shoes for working in service at restaurants. Pros; Black, spill resistant toe/ top, non slip sole. Cons; Much heavier, much stiffer sole, twice the cost, and a lot less comfortable than my previous Brooks shoes. Previous shoes are Brooks trace bought on sale, worn almost everyday for about a year and a half.

in 6 months of use - 2 tears occurred - one on edge of rubber and leather (seam), and the other at the seam of two pieces of leather. quality was less than expected. comfort was ok - but not what I hoped for for the price and the recommendations on the brand. I'll be choosing another brand next time.

My neighbor highly recommended purchasing Brooks for walking. I wear a 14 narrow and bought the Addiction Walker 2. The only problem I encountered was a narrow toe box. Using the sneakers was causing pain, but I just thought they need to be broken in. Well, I was wrong and the issue wa the toe box. I probably used the shoes a week and now they sit in their box. Conclusion - great brand, but if you need a normal to wide toe box, the Addiction Walker 2 might not be the best option.
