Love this shoe. I had the Walker one and now I received the newer Walker 2. Beware, the new Walker 2 is is a bit tighter, but still works for me

So far works great.like the grip.bought some better insoles so will know soon how well they wear. So far happy as a clam!

I have purchased Brooks addiction walkers for 10 yrs as I am diabetic.they are best for my ft.

I have been buying the ORIGINAL Brooks Addiction Walker shoe since 2003 because I got diagnosed with tendonitis in the Patella tendon in both knees and it took me a year to find a comfortable shoe (along with doing knee stretching and going through PT) that wouldn't exacerbate it.
The original Addiction Walker was and has been my go to shoe since 2003.
I recently ordered the Addiction Walker 2 and couldn't find the original design on Zappos. I was a bit skeptical of this new design but ordered it anyways and I was right.
Now, after a week of wearing them my knee pain has once again come back after 17 or so years of having a good shoe I could rely on.
Why did they change the design such a great shoe?
I can't wear these and now have to find a new brand/shoe to wear as I don't want to be on crutches again as was the case in 2003.
I'm severely disappointed in Brooks for changing the design of this shoe.

Shoes were good.
Free socks were too small.
Label said they wud fit up to 14
No way for a big person my size to wear socks.

I'm wearing them for two weeks now, and even that are ok, I was looking for more cushion. I need it a higher hill and these shoe lol like it has it but is just not there.

These shoes look good enough for casual work dress and are comfortable for my 9 and 10 hour days on my feet. Plenty of support and reasonably lightweight also. I wear a 15W and the fit was spot on.

My husband loves these shoes. He has a very wide foot and is on his feet all day. He works in a shop so the leather is more protective than a mesh shoe. Will order another pair.

I have worn these shoes for many years and have had at least 10 pairs. This pair seems to be shorter than the rest. I am debating returning them for a half size bigger.

The appear to be slightly undersized compared to New Balance. I take a size 11 W. Initially my big toe on right foot was rubbing. After wearing them off and on for a week they seem to have broken in. I weigh 235 lbs and they seem to be very sturdy.

I am not a running but I do walk a lot. These shoes are super comfortable from day 1. The only reason they did not get a 5 star is because I do not like the ribbed sides. It makes the shoes look like cheap vinyl and am concerned how well they will hold up. I am still wearing the last addiction walkers I bought and they look like new.
