Great comfortable shoe hands down! The negative part is that the upper toe box and the ball of your foot where you crease every step the leather material is deteriorating and makes the appearance of the shoe look bad.

Whoever made the decision to replace the Addiction Walker with the Addiction Walker 2 should be fired and replaced with someone who cares enough about the customer to bring back the Addiction Walker.

Nice, robust and stable shoe, my only objection is the steep price.

These shoes have the support that I been looking for. I have arthritis in my knee and hips and it helps due to do the fact I am on my feet and walk between 15-20000 steps at work every day. This is my second pair and the first lasted almost a year hoping this pair will do the same when the other brands I was Buying was lasting like three to four months. I enjoy Brooks and may get another running shoe to wear on the weekends. Thank you Brooks

I use these shoes for work. I work 12 hours a day on my feet all day. This new model is very stiff and hard. No cushion or arch support. My feet are killing everyday after work. Ive worn brooks for years now and have never had this problem before. Please make theses shoes like the previous model.

The toe box up front is wider than the running shoes so a more comfortable fit for my hammer toes.

I am an old man (86) and cannot run anymore. However, I would like to continue wearing running shoes while I now walk, but am not certain what running shoe to choose. So, I pick these for my daily walk. They are very nice, the kind of shoe so comfortable a person could wear them all day long every day. Any suggestions for me? I`m NOT a runner, this review is for walking shoes. I have problems with my feet and very few shoes are comfortable enough for me to wear and be on my feet all day. The Addiction Walkers are great for walking, have good support, comfort and durability. So far this latest Addiction Walker 2 feels the same as the previous model and no complaints. While some other brands of walking shoes in this price range are also comfortable, the Brooks shoes have the edge in durability.

They hurt my knee after 15 miles of walking. Can't wear them anymore. It took a week for the pain in my knee to go away. I have never had an issue using the beasts so I thought this support shoe would be as good. Very disappointed

After an initial stretching of the shoes, the shoes are comfortable, They run more narrowly then most other Brooks shoes that I own, so one should order a wider width than normal.

I like the comfort and support these shoes offer, but they squeak with every step. I prefer the older Addiction model that had a mostly mesh upper. Was much lighter and quieter.

This is the only shoe that my husband can wear. The arch support and comfort aren't there in other shoes. And this is the only shoe with a true wide width.

I have been wearing the Addiction Walkers for a number of years now, and noticed the new version. I bought a pair to try. Suffice to say, sometimes new and improved is not better. After wearing these for the better part of the day, I can't wait to get them off. They seem stiff, no arch support (to me, anyway), and just generally uncomfortable. I have been wearing my old ones to the point where they are falling apart and only wear the A2s when necessary, which at this point in time is few and far between.

I'm a CNA at a hospital and I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day and these are the first shoes I've worn where my feet did not hurt at the end of the day. They're super comfortable. I can see why they were top rated on all the "best nurse shoes" lists I researched before buying them. I'm very happy with these shoes.

I have bad feet and legs due to clotting. Life long pronation hasn't helped. The Brooks design make walking easier on a sore hip. The bottom of my left foot still is in a bit of a revolt but adapting. No shoe can probably be perfect but these are better than what ever I have in second place. Thanks!
