This is my second pair and I don't think these new ones have the same build as last years. I really don't think these are going to last as well as the old ones and I wore them right into the ground. I wish I could be more specific, but it's tough. These are already losing some of the fit around my foot. I am still looking forward to the day when I can buy a pair of support shoes and not have to add an insert to make it as high arched as it needs to be.

I have bad feet and legs due to clotting. Life long pronation hasn't helped. The Brooks design make walking easier on a sore hip. The bottom of my left foot still is in a bit of a revolt but adapting. No shoe can probably be perfect but these are better than what ever I have in second place. Thanks!

comfortable, great walking shoes for daily office use.

This shoe is more narrow than the previous model and is stiffer. I also liked the looks of the previous model better.

Shoe is too heavy for me...Have a hard time acclimating to the weight of it......

perfect for use with orthodics

I have owned at least six pair of Addiction Walkers over the years. I am an ex-runner. I walk rather than run. I don't expect my walkers to feel like the running shoes I've had. In fact, I'd be disappointed if they did. I believe the mid soles feel different one style (running) to the other (walking). I expect my walkers to last longer than, and to feel like they have less "give". My latest purchase has a different sole design than the previous Addictions. I like their grip in the wet, and how they shed water better than the older design. I've also noted the sole of the shoes on the instep side have a somewhat pronounced bevel that is new. Being the king of the pronators, if this is intended to help further stabilize my foot strike and motion, I'm all for it. If its for aesthetics, its ok. I've repeatedly been advised to never go barefoot, much less without footwear that provides a degree of control. I wear my Addictions not only when I'm walking for exercise but the rest of the time as well. They even function well for business casual wear. I like their look and feel. I recommend them!

Very stiff, unlike leather. Voluminous space in the toes caused an abrasion.

i use these shoes for work not to run. I have 3 pairs of these shoes, and 2 of the addition walker 14. GREAT Shoes

My shoes are not Slip resistant at all! I work in the food industry and almost felt multiple times :( It sucks cause it is a confortable shoe

Stable and Comfortable, I can wear them all day long.

I'm a bartender and spend a lot of time on my feet during the week. I've always had issues with foot and knee pain as a result, and these are hands-down the best shoes I've found for minimizing that pain. They're extremely comfortable, offer great arch-support, and feature a very effective slip-resistant sole. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone working in foodservice with chronic foot pain.

High quality and comfortable. Durable version of my Ghosts. I have arthritis in feet and have trouble finding shoes and boots. These will be added to my arsenal for work and walks. No negative observations yet.

I am standing on my feet all day. This shoes are comfortable and provide me with ths support my feet need.

Love the shoe...it fits well and is super comfortable so I definitely feel inspired to walk more. The only reason I can't give it a 5 star is because the shoe squeaks with every step I take. When I'm walking around my classroom, my 8th grade students are giggling as I go by.

Shoes are as comfortable as the last two pairs and seems to be of slightly studier design as evidenced by the tread design and the toe box (inside and out). Wear them every day and especially like their comfort when I'm walking my dogs multiple times a day.

Its looking like I need to return this shoe as it seems to be aggravating my back problems. It definitely was "different" at first, but I walked around in it and after a 2-3 weeks it definitely broke in. Still not the same as walking around in an athletic shoe. But, like i said, its aggravating my back.

well.. i got them as a xmas gift for my ex husband and have not given them to him yet.. hes not a runner he will prob use them for work.. has a catering business and is on his feet alot
