This shoe is very stiff; the upper material seems thick and a bit inflexible. It also makes a squeaky noise that is unwelcome. The fit is good and the sole cushion is as expected. I am assuming that the upper will break in over time. Previous Brooks shoes were excellent from day 1, both Addiction and Adrenaline. I use this shoe for walking, not for running.

Perfect for me. The wide fit is great. I would say that this is a great walking shoe but don't think it would be as good a running shoe.

'One-star' is not an accurate assessment but there doesn't seem to be any way to choose N/A. The shoes are too small and I can't wear them. I ordered size 8 1/2 because that was the size of my previous shoes (Etonic) although I understand of course that sizes do vary between different manufacturers. In any case, I appreciate your Happy Feet policy (or whatever it's called) and I will be returning them.

I love the shoes and this is about my fourth pair purchased. Help me tremendously with my knees and back alignment since I'm flat footed. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 rating is because there seems to have been some change made with inner shoe materials and make a crunching noise when walking in them that's very obvious.

OMG!!! These shoes literally changed my life. I'm a UPS driver and I have plantar fasciitis and could not stand the pain anymore. A coworker recommended these shoe so I gave these a shot and I'm literally pain free now. I just wish they made a better looking walking shoe or something in brown so it could match my uniform.

Been using at work for last month. Waiter walking on concrete floors for 6.5 hours or more. So far seem like a solid shoe.

Have worn this shoe for many years and have always loved the comfort and longevity of this shoe. Just ordered 11/22 and design has changed. Ordered 10 1/2 wide as usual but shoe is not as wide or as long as previous models. Shoe is tight and will require a breaking in period. Disappointed in the new design.

Still the most comfortable shoe my 4E feet have worn right out of the box. No break-in required!!! I'm a little disappointed that the exterior back half of the shoe has so much plastic looking skin. Long and short, the comfort is a constant 5 star.

I can't walk around in my back yard in the early morning dew with your other offerings. The Walkers give me the support I need and are water resistant.

Today was my 13th day of using the Addiction 2 shoes. I used them every day since 12/21/2022 except for Christmas Day. I have put 52.27 miles with them as of today 1/2/2023. Using your TrueFit recommendation I ordered a size 9 instead of my usual 8.5. Initially, my heel was a bit loose but I used a heel lock lace to remedy that. Overall they are comfortable. I have had issues with heel hot spots and some toe discomfort but it hasnt been consistent and depends on how Ive traveled or if I am only doing my brisk walks or slow runs. I am maintaining a daily log of my walks and the shoes. I plan to give them a thorough review at the end of the 90 day usage.

I think the old style was more comfortable and durable. The leather in the tow of the new style shoe cracked and created a hole in less than a year. The plastic stripey stuff on the sides looks cheap compared to the old model.

I recently bought a pair of these. After wearing these a couple of times I have decided I can't wear them. By the time I am done for the day my feet hurt, my back hurts and my knees hurt.

I need a "winter shoe" for walking, so selected the leather upper Addiction because the Dyads I use the rest of the year are ventilated. I'm 74 years old and no longer run due to some leg and foot issues. The Addictions fit well, and definitely are more suited for cold, wet weather, but do not offer the kind of support that the Dyads provide. I cannot walk as far or as quickly in the Addictions. The lack of support causes back and leg pain fairly quickly. I realize that my situation probably is not typical of your customers, but I really wish you had a product available such as a leather-topped Dyad for winter use.
