I own another pair of Brooks running shoes and absolutely love them. These however are polar opposites of my other pair. They are very stiff. No flexibility. Had to buy better inserts being the included ones are paper thin and zero support. I wear them in slippery areas and they are slip resistant just not as good as other shoes. I will not purchase these again

I love that these shoes are durable leather instead of the vulnerable mesh other Brooks shoes have, however the soles are not very cushy and don't provide much relief for my plantar fasciitis.

use them for standing all day, thought they would by clunky but feel more like running shoes, quiet and relatively soft for leather

They are OK. Not great like my Ghost runners. I use these for work, and I expect they will last quite a while. I'll need to buy a pair oh Ghost 15 before my next convention though.

Sorry, but I am sending them back. The squeaks are just too loud. I love your Adrenalines but these Walkers are poorly designed.

I have arthritis in my right knee and this is the only shoe that makes my knee feel good even after prolonged walking. It comfortable and supportive.

Good walking shoe - firmer footbed with a lower heel keeps your weight centered. Smoother sole makes for easier sideways movements on indoor surfaces like carpet. More of an issue when you are a geezer, but geezer friendly is good. Shoe is firmer & supportive over a long days wear. 6'3" 220 size 13 for reference

Most comfortable shoe yet. I'm in law enforcement and the all black leather-like exterior makes it uniform compliant. Please don't discontinue this shoe.

I finally found a great pair ofnarrow shoes. They are excellent for walking.

I use my Addiction 2 shoes for walking. They have excellent support, better than any shoes Ive tried before. They are well made and comfortable whether on a treadmill or outdoors. After I purchased my first pair , I bought another pair 2 months later. I virtually live in these shoes.

I am using these shoes for work. Excellent cushion and stability.

Tried a pair since the original Addiction is no longer available. After wearing them for 3 weeks at work for 'break in', they are not comfortable for being on my feet 1/2 the day. Not the same cushioning on these and there is no way they will last me 6 months like the original Addiction Walkers. Very disappointing and will not buy again.

I LOVE this shoe, but am really sad that it's not slip resistant. I work in Food Service and need a Black Slip Resistant Shoe. Overall comfort is great. But when it comes to wet floors, not so good. I really wish they were truly slip resistant. Other then that they are great. I really wish BROOKS made a TRULY Slip Resistant Shoe.

Great support and comfort for my daily walks. Closed shoe is much warmer for winter use

I just started to use the shoe so really too early to know however i think it will be a good addition. The shoe is sturdy, actually a bit heavy, but provides necessary support.

Very comfortable, well made. The shoes squeak with every step. Loudly! Leather on top of tongue rubs and squeaks with every step. Very annoying

I walk my dog 2 miles each day. I wanted a warmer shoe for our winter walks, and this shoe is definitely warmer than my summer Brooks Addiction. In fact, sitting inside in 70 degrees, my feet feel moist. This shoe may be too hot to wear in the spring and summer, especially in the sun. I am thinking of adding a few small vent holes. I actually prefer the Addiction Walker in brown suede, but it has been unavailable for a while.

3rd pair. Can't be beat and I have most manufacturers brands of walking shoes

The version 2 of the Addiction Walker is different from the original shoe. First of all, when new, the version 2 shoe doesn't feel as comfortably padded as the original. Secondly, this shoe squeaks when I walk, which makes it noisy, compared with the original shoe. As far as I am concerned, the shoe was changed when it didn't need to be changed, and not for the better. I also liked the original shoe's appearance over the new appearance. The sole has been changed, as well, so I want to see how the shoe holds up over time. I have been wearing this shoe for a week or so now, so I don't have enough time with them to know how much I'll like them as they wear in, but I would rate the original as a five-star. I can't give these new ones a five star rating because they are squeaky, flashy, and not the relieving feeling when they are new.
