Not a runner since younger years. These are my new indoor court pickle ball shoes, replacing a similar pair I have had for many years. My first time to wear them was last week and they were perfect, comfortable & safe shoes on the court for my 77 yr old body with 2 hip replacements.

Very comfortable support. I normally wear an 8, but that shoe was too small. I got an 8.5 and 9.0. The 8.5 fit. So, for both me and my husband, they were half size too small.

Really like the support of the suede shoe. It offers more support than lighter tennis shoes. I have a fallen arch and this shoes helps so much. I ordered the wide and it isn't too wide, maybe could have used a wide 2 but still they are comfortable. Not a runner but great for everyday walking indoor or out. Would be nice to have more color choices.

Love them very comfortable while doing my walk I bought another pair at a retail store. I had to get a wide D, cause my feet are wide when I'm on them most of the day. I bought a second pair at a retailer.

Because I'm a daily walker, not a runner, I switched to these shoes that give a different and better support. They also hold up very well.

It is a great shoe for every day walking. It has great arch support and that is why I buy it. My second pair of this style.

This is the second pair of Brooks shoes I've purchased. I made a mistake on my first pair. They're running shoes and I wanted walking. This time I got the walker shoe. So far they are very comfortable. I ordered an 8 1/2, which is my usual size. I send them back and received a 9, which is great. Very comfortable. I am going on a few trips that are 10-15 days with a lot of walking. Looking forward to seeing how they work.

For some background info, I'm a woman in my late twenties living with adult idiopathic scoliosis. Last fall I began having a problem with pain starting in my lower back and radiating down my right leg. It was so bad, I was finding it difficult to work and I feared that this was a new permanent health issue that would prevent me from ever walking without pain again. My physical therapist suggested that I upgrade to some shoes with better support for my spine, so I ditched my beloved Converse for the Brooks Addiction Walker size 11. To my surprise and relief, the leg and lower back pain gradually faded away over the next two months of wearing these shoes, and has very rarely reared its ugly head again since then. I love these shoes as they provide support all day while I'm at work, and I even bought a second pair of them as indoor-only shoes to be worn around my apartment. I only wish the grips were slightly better in the super-slippery NYC subway system.

I'm not a runner but I walk long distances. This is my second pair of Brooks Addiction Walker and I am very happy with them. They are comfortable and I don't mind the look although I agree with another reviewer who suggests that some variety in colors would be nice.

I held off for a long time before buying this shoe, simply for vanity. The white shoe and the design yelled "orthopedic" very loudly. I finally decided to try after Brooks came out with a pastel color. Still quite orthopedic looks, but it's extremely stable and I love it. I trade it out with my other Brooks models for my long dog walks, and I'm hoping they continue to add more color. Even walkers like pizzazz!

The Addiction Walker is my go-to walking and exercising shoe. I walk and exercise almost every day and these hold up real well. I have high arches with plantar fasciitis and love that I can insert my own orthotics. This is my third time buying them.

Wider across the metatarsals than any other shoe I've found. It doesn't squeeze your bones together. So comfy! Stable side to side, high toebox, good support throughout the sole, and enough cushioning to absorb shock well. (I have hallux rigidus and use Morton's extensions and custom orthotics in my shoes. Pre-diagnosis, I wore orthotics and a size 6.5B. I sized up to a 7D to fit the Morton's extensions. I wear these shoes all day, every day.)

Although I can no longer run, I do walk outside every day unless the weather is contrary. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I don't even have to wear my orthotics with these. That is how supportive they are! I expect to order another pair soon! Thanks, Brooks!

Like the name, they are more for walking than running, but great for walking. Would work well for wearing to work and looks good with dress clothes. Really comfortable and supportive. I will buy again.

Comfortable for walking on paved and unpaved surfaces. Stains easily, though, so doesn't look clean very long.

It's my go to shoe. I'm on my feet all day. I weigh 240. I have plantar fasciitis and I'm diabetic. Ive worked in a hospital for over 30 years. They don't break down like other shoes do. I highly recommend this shoe. They keep their shape, which helps keep your body aligned.
