After reading other reviews, I ordered a half size larger, which was the right thing to do for this shoe. I like that I can put my orthotic in place of the removable insole. The shoes are very comfortable! There is a problem with the color, though; I thought I was getting a grey shoe, but the color is more of a pinkish purple. I kept them because they felt good, and I have hard to fit feet. Still, buyer beware in terms of color!

Uppers are not true suede. I bought in February 2020. Now, only 9 months later, the material has torn. Only wore to walk in. No yard work. Now they are shoddy looking. I am a true and blue “Brooks Walking Addiction “ fan but not this iteration. Usually I replace because the soles wear over time (years). Wouldn’t recommend the Suede.

I have looked for sneakers I could love for years. I have bunions, not painful because I'm careful what I wear, (and to chicken to have surgery), very flat feet, therefore pronation. Birkenstocks, even the soft beds, kill my feet after a couple hours. You know how some women's feet look great in those sneakers with no support? Well, that's not me. I need a firm base, a sneaker that will provides support, enough room in the toe box that my toes can move, I also don't like feeling the rocks I'm walking over under the sole of any shoe I'm wearing. These are great! They are little more stylish than the Saucony ST2, (which also offer great support). I have been able to wear these all day without any discomfort. The color is a true dove gray color. I've had them about 3 weeks now; I would most certainly buy again!

The 10.5 is correct for this Brooks style. The material is very nice though I did expect a more neutral gray color. The heel cup really does make a difference and the shoe is very stable which is what I need. Many MANY years ago (I was about 14 or 15) I had surgery on both feet for what now I believe was tarsal coalition. It resulted in very flat feet, ankle instability esp recently from over pronation and likely age/arthritis. Hard to believe a shoe would make this much difference but I’ve been wearing, standing and walking in it for 4+ hours and the (good) difference is very apparent. I will also likely keep Brooks Adrenaline GTS20 which also works well for my feet. The Vionic Walker is actually painful so it depends entirely on your own physical situation.
I'd also recommend:
I’ve worn Keens for years but they don’t help my feet/ankle/knee/back issues.

This shoe was a perfect fit for me. You can also add an orthotic if you choose. It is not a fashion look, but a nice athletic look that appears to be of high quality materials. I suffer from foot issues and this addresses them. The comfort was immediate. They give me excellent stability. Had to have them and I am thrilled with this purchase!

I have always worn a 7.5 as we’re these shoes. However I found these shoes a bit too snug in both length and width and returned them.

I love this walking shoe! I put an insole into it and they are amazingly comfortable. The WW is actually wide in the toe box to relieve tailor bunion pain and able to still fit a slender foot. They are a larger shoe and a bit heavy at first, but once I felt the support and comfort I was so grateful. I even did a 6 mile hike in them pain free, which is an amazing accomplishment for me. If you need a wide walking shoe, I would recommend trying this one.

Great improvement with foot pain. Spending 12 hrs a shift has created a lot of foot pain and increase in joint pain which is already improving after a week or so. Highly recommend these shoes and will likely be getting another pair. The support is noticeable as soon as the shoe is on.

love the appearance of the shoes, feels really comfortable, bigger toe box and ample room for my orthotic inserts. My feet are changing shape as i age, and one is a tad longer so I got a 1/2 size bigger and they are the perfect fit. Will be getting a pair of black walkers for winter soon as well.

Fit was great but shoe did not last long! Only 4 months old and the shoe blew out right by the pinky toe on both shoes! Loved the shoe but will not get again for the price, it should last at least 6 months!

The best shoe I ever wore. I am glad I purchased a half size bigger as they fit perfectly. I had foot surgery and I was wearing these at a follow up with my surgeon. He noticed these shoes right away, fully examined them and said this would be what he would have recommended. Very comfortable.

I have a fused ankle and require a rocker bottom. My new Brooks are extremely comfortable because of their support and cushioning. They stand alone in the sneaker Industry.

I've been wearing New Balance shoes for years but haven't been happy with the quality and fit in the last year or so. I'm a big time walker doing about 9 miles a day. These Brooks shoes felt awesome immediately. And they look snappy. I just wonder if I'll get a hole on the right shoe where my big toe hits. I clip my nails very short but still get a hole eventually on any fabric sneaker but not with leather shoes. Since these are suede I'm hopeful about not getting a hole!

Very Pleased With Brooks Addiction: Foot and Ankle Issues I have been wearing these for 4 months following my third (!) broken ankle. I have flat feet and an unstable ankle. Brooks have worked well for me as I have gone through rehab and gotten my walking gait back. I did order 1/2 size up, which was perfect. The heel cup is really helpful. These are my first pair of Brooks. I also wear Naot lace up boots.

Bought these for work because the Nikes that I used to wear were hurting the arches of my feet. I absolutely LOVE these shoes. They are so so comfortable and supportive, but still really cute. I wear them for my entire shift and never have any problems. Definitely worth the money.

Love finally having a different fabric to choose from in the Addiction Walker series! Beautiful color I can wear with blue or black in nicer weather.

I like the look of the shoe and the arch support is medium. I felt the toe box was too narrow for my foot. I have other Brooks and the toe box is fine, so this one must run a bit more narrow in the tow box.

Good quality and very comfortable for walking. I would rate it a five, except for the fact that I'm seeing dark spots (stains?) along the crease line on the suede in the toe box on both shoes, after wearing it only a few times. Not sure what that's about. For that reason, I would probably get the darker color next time.

Got these in the oyster color. First time wearing Addiction Walkers. The previous style were hideous and I couldn’t bring myself to wear them. I’ve had these for several months and they’ve served me well during the pandemic. I got my usual size 7.5 Wide and use my Superfeet Berry orthotic. They fit well. Most important, they help me walk without aggravating my hip and foot pain. Despite the style upgrade from the original Addiction walker, they are still a bit orthopedic. But I don’t think that can be helped. But a significant style improvement. I like the color and the suede. Thanks Brooks. I’ll buy another pair when these wear out.

I normally wear a size 6 and have no problems. I wore these once, no run/walk; had to remove them in the car. Too tight. Perhaps it's the style I chose. Would like to return and order something else, but I no longer have outside packaging or packing slip.
