I have been looking for that 'perfect' winter coat for those Great Lakes winters we get in Cleveland, and this is about as close as I can get. I'd been wearing my old (different brand) down coat for about 10 years and it was starting to fall apart; What I loved about my old coat was the removable hood and comfortable higher neckline, which helps keep the cold off the back of my neck. This coat does not have a removable hood, and I wish it did because when I'm not wearing the hood, I have to pull the hood forward to keep the cold off my neck. I also wish the zipper flap had snaps instead of Velcro. I find Velcro very annoying, as I don't tend to keep my coat zipped up in the car, and the Velcro is rubbing on my seatbelt, and also getting caught on things like scarves/mittens. It also just looks cheaper than snaps to me, in my humble opinion. Other than that, the coat is very warm and kept me dry in a snow/rain mix. I also love the sleeves for my hands - nice touch!

Soooo comfortable & warm! I go to the University of Minnesota (long walks to class get very chilly) and this coat keeps me so warm and cozy. Thick enough to keep warm but not too bulky/puffy where I feel like a marshmallow! Definitely recommend.

This coat fits well and is warm. I love that it is water proof and I like that I can remove the fur trim around the hood.

I've bought this jacket to my wife as a present. It is a perfect fit, lightweight and very warming. In addition it it relatively long so the entire center of the body is being protected and kept warm.

This is the warmest coat I have ever owned! I have worn it several times when the temps were around 0 and wind chills around -20, I didn't get cold. Great quality, I know it will last for years to come.

This coat is anazing, from walking to work in the rain, sitting inside, to snowboarding. It doesnt just keep warm but also love the fit, making me look nice and slim.

And after much research and comparison (plus I got this on sale after the holidays) I chose this one and the best choice I've ever made for a coat! It is so warm, long ( I'm pretty tall about 5'8 ) , durable and I know will last for years to come. I'm typically a medium/large (depending on brand) and to be safe chose the large which is actually a little more spacious so I could have gotten the medium but I like to layer up in the cold so this is fine. I don't do extreme winter sports so this is perfect for commuting to work in snowy and cold New England.

This coat is exactly what I needed. Not only is it comfortable and functional, but I've received so many compliments on the color and the cut that I am completely pleased. It was worth the money and more. I paid attention to the reviews that noted that if you are not small chested to take that into account. So if it's small anywhere it's in the chest area.

tried numerous mid length coats on this site and others. wanted warm with no bulk and the right length as I am 5 feet tall. this is the perfect coat for me. warm with detachable fur trim on the hood and not bulky. I travel to Connecticut and Wisconsin and need a warm longer coat for those blustery winter days.... this is the perfect sizing and length for a petite woman

It runs small... If i could, i would have bought xl. i have a pear shaped body (5'4'' , 158lbs). Large fits me but it little tight at the hips. since i hate layering, it is fine for me. Love the jacket. has kept me warm in boston winter. has become by favourite jacket.

Giving this a 5 Star because it is beautiful and well constructed. I gave this as a gift to my daughter. The only issue is it runs small. Go up a size if you don't want to be disappointed.

...for my trip to Iceland. Waterproofing helped during the rain and the warmth was ideal (with a base layer, of course) for my winter trip there. Due to its length, it wasn't very convenient to climb over rock and steep stairs, however. But I'd still recommend it. I am 5'4" and weigh 110 lb; XS fit me well.

It's waterproof. Warm as heck. Long to my knees on my 5'6" frame. True to fit. People say that it's roomy in the shoulders and I would agree but I am large chested and I feel like that provides a lot of room so that the jacket actually zips over my chest unlike other XL coats. This coat is such an upgrade compared to the average down puffer one would find in the stores. It's legit warm. I have to wait until I am out the door to put this on or else I'll be sweating. And I am the person who is always cold. This isn't the lightweight packable down jacket. It's weighty and substantial but that's what gets the job done. I wish I had bought a coat like this years ago.

The best Jacket ever so sad is not available any more is hard to find . I hope Columbia make this Jacket in all sizes and diferent color.Love it !!

This puffer coat is soft and keeps me warm. I love how it covers me down to my knees.

Warm so far in 10 degrees weather. When it gets colder, we will see how warm it is. Love the warmth without the bulk! Also love the "monkey sleeves".

This is the best winter jacket I've ever owned. I am a bit shorter (5'3), so the length of the jacket brings it to just under my knee caps. The thumbholes and hood are also great. I love that the fur is removable which honestly makes it a bit adjustable. As in I can tug the fur out longer to really keep the wind out of my face, or push it back a bit. I'm looking forward to wearing it on campus during for the new semester. As of now it is absolutely perfect for keeping me warm while I walk my two dogs (one of which takes around 30 minutes to finish his business).

I was skeptical at first when I felt the weight of the jacket but it's surprisingly warm. I was actually a little warm wearing it and it was 25 degrees outside.

True to size. Still has some room for layering. Keep me warm in 20F weather.

Bought this for NYC trip...temps in the low 40s...never would've known it. Stayed comfy and warm in this coat. Felt warm and super cute in it. Tested the waterproof-ness on my last day...walked all over NYC in the rain...stayed dry the whole time. Water literally rolled right off. Best investment I've made in a coat.
