Nice looking shoe but did not fit well. Have been searching your site all summer for a NARROW shoe in 8.5 with good arch support. The Addiction 14 is on its way back.

I’ve worn this style for years. These shoes were not at all comfortable. The toe box was way too big and the soles were not shock absorbing like all of the others I’ve owned. I am very disappointed and will not be buying Brooks athletic shoes again.

Absolutely LOVED my Addiction 12. These were not even close to the same shoe. The heel depth (inside) is shallow and didn't come up far enough to be comfortable. The heel was also way too loose and my heel slipped inside the shoe when walking (sure to cause blisters). Ironically, toe box felt very tight. I'm now struggling to find a supportive shoe for my extremely bad feet (2 surgeries in two years). I'm so disappointed. I had to buy another brand that I was told was not as supportive, won't last as long, and more expensive, but at least they fit. No other Brooks shoe fit.

So this new version (Addiction 14) is nothing like the Addiction 13 or 12 or 11. I compared the specs of the 14 to the 13 and it looks like the 14 is missing the DNA Midsole, which for me means it's missing the higher level of cushion and support that the 13 had. These were the only shoes I was able to wear having plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. So disappointed that they changed how the shoes are made. I did see that the Ariel 20 is somewhat similar to the old Addiction 13 so I will have to see if those will work for me.

After just taking my 30 minute walk in these shoes my knees hurt and one of my feet, after spending all that money on a shoe that had descent reviews, sorry but not a fan. :(

Very disappointed. Brooks is my go to brand . This is just not the same shoe I am used to. It was stiff, and caused my feet , toes , ankles And knees a world of hurt . To add insult to Injury, it ran small with the size I usually order being too tight and my toes trying to find a way out

I have purchased 3 pairs of Brooks as I am a avid walker. Brooks Addiction 14 are the worst by far. I knew instantly when putting them on that I had made a mistake in purchase. They are too short and 1/2 size is not an option. The width is far from accurate. Please go back to drawing board. Very unhappy at this time.

I don't like that the toe box is loose. My feet don't stay as steady as with the previous models. I wear Orthotics to keep my foot from going off to the sides. Your earlier shoes were better made. Please go back to earlier models.

If you were an Addiction 13 fan, don't bother with the 14. It doesn't have nearly the support and stability that the 13 offered. And, the wide size is too lose. It caused a blister on the side of my big toe from loose fitting rubbing the very first time I wore it. I can't find the 13 anywhere in my size and I'm very disappointed.

I have been wearing Brooks for years and am a fan. I will continue to order Brooks. Normally I am always the same size. The width was an issue. They ran more narrowHaving to return them.

They do NOT have the stability and support on the sides that have always been part of the Brooks Addiction shoes. I paid a lot of money for these shoes and now I am stuck with a shoe I can't wear!

The fit and support were great, but they started shredding after the second walk. I was sent a new pair, free of charge, and the same thing happened. I am now awaiting a new style. I have to say, the customer service was impeccable. Thank you, Brooks!

I didn't like them, I have the 13's and loved them. They didn't have the support l like in the 13's. Also was happy with the fabric. I did send them back.

Not enough cushioning, too thin of a sole, not enough support. Had to return the pair I ordered and go back to the Addiction 13. (Thank goodness there were still some left). I have been wearing the Addiction running shoes for almost 20 years.

I was not happy with the product. The top part of the sneaker started fraying after only two weeks of wear. I am requesting a replacement or another style shoe

I literally hated this shoe from the moment I put it on my foot. I am on a quest to find a support shoe that does not have guide rails. After wearing the Brooks Adrenaline since 2007 the addition of guide rails in 2019 made them difficult to wear and run happy. In an attempt to stay with the Brooks brand I tried this shoe...which was the only support shoe they still offer without guide rails. Unfortunately the shoe was tight and uncomfortable when I first put it on. Hoping it just needed to be broken in I wore it anyway. Big mistake. Went out for a short 3-mile run...and it turned into a long, painful walk. They were tight and almost had too much cushion for me. They went directly back in the box as soon as I got back home. The search will continue for a running shoe that will work. I guess it will not be in the Brooks brand. Or perhaps Brooks will go back to the Adrenaline 18s with no guide rails... Highly unlikely I realize but a girl can dream.

I have been a running in Brook's Addiction Shoes for many years. This is the first time I have been so disappointed with the Addiction Running Shoe. The toe box is too roomy, my feet hit the pavement floppy, noisily and I even feel it is a bit rocky once I am attempting to push off and follow through. It is not smooth at all. I am also a long time custom orthotics user. The changes are noticeable for me. I have worn 6.5 B through the years and even thought to order as size 6 B, but I am not sure that will even help. I am now stuck with a pair of running shoes I can not return and I can't use.

A long term Addiction wearer, the Addiction 14 are not up to the expectations of past models. The cushion is light, not as expected. The support /stability is non-existent. The shoe overall is a disappointment. I liked past models for the support, stability and comfort, and unfortunately Brooks missed the mark with this model.

The one star is for the look. I have been wearing Addiction for years and it was a reliable shoe! I bought this one weeks ago and my knee is still hurting. Because of the new design this is a terrible shoe. I went to a shoe store and they told me people are bringing that Shoe back for a refund every day! Can I get a refund. You messed up a great shoe with a great reputation. I now wear NEW BALANCE!
