I wanted to love these shoes like I did my first pair of Brooks, Addiction 13, but that is not the case. I got a pair of Dyad 10s when my first Addictions were showing some wear. The well broken in Addiction 13s were cushier than the new Dyads, but I liked the looks of the Dyads. Now the well broken in Dyads seem cushier than the brand new Addiction14s, which are advertised as having superior cushioning. So, I am disappointed. Had I tried the 14s on in a store I may not have purchased them.

I bought this shoe for my daughter for her birthday in June 2020 and after a handful of times wearing the shoes they started wearing holes in the fabric around the top of shoes where you insert your foot otherwise she thought they were comfortable.

They are really good shoes and come highly recomended. But I am 65 and a housekeeper at a hospital. This is why I bought them. I do alot of walking in a day .They are kind of expensive, but I have tried everything. I am still not sure if they are the right shoe for me or not.

I have been wearing addiction for a few years now. I love the support and the wide width. My complaint with this new model is how quickly the outside began to fray and look worn. The old style did not do this.

Not nearly as supportive as my addiction 13s

I have been wearing Addiction 12, 8 W. Addiction 14 is almost too wide and the shoes strings seem to stretch. Bring back the pretty navy and plum of Addiction 12.

Not enough cushion. A flimsy shoe without the quality I am used to, as a long time Brooks? customer.

I need the 2A Narrow Heel, so my choices are limited. Previously I purchased the Adrenaline GTS design, but it was not available with the 2A heel when I needed a show. While I do like this Addiction shoe, I find the Adrenaline GTS design to be more comfortable. Thanks for providing a 2A Narrow Heel.

I wish this shoe had more padding. I Really gave the shoe a chance. It just does not have enough shock absorption.

I didn't like the fit of them at all. They are totally different from the 13's. It felt to wide, to hard and a little to long. I felt the cushion didn't feel as good as the 13. I did return them and will try and find something in Brooks that I like, at least I hope to.

this shoe was for my wife. she has begun wearing an orthotic insole. he doctor suggested she increase her shoe size which we did. we selected this model as it says it is wider in the toe are. she still finds the shoe very tight.

Little heavy on the foot and my feel Fall asleep even with loose laces.

I'm afraid these may break down faster than my older Brooks and if that's the case, I may have to find a different brand all together. They are okay for now and feel supportive and comfortable but just not as much as the previous addiction.

In general, I love Brooks tennis shoes. I use them mainly for walking. However , in the addiction 14, the insert is not as comfortable as my previous Brooks dyads. When I walk long distances, I can feel the balls of my feet almost hit the pavement. Addiction 14 does provide the maximum insole support for my flat feet.

I realize that I am looking for the running shoe that does not exist. I have always used asics shoes since they carried the only narrow width that I need. But, as is so often the case, they stopped making narrow widths - so I tried your narrow. The shoe is not a narrow and therefore did not fit my foot properly for running. It does appear to be a well made shoe so I will use it for other things than my run. Dianne Carde

Iiii have worn Brooks Addiction shoes for years! However, this shoe, the Addiction 14, is cut larger and I cannot wear. I need to return the shoes, but with the Corona Virus, I just have not been out to do it. I do love Brooks' shoes, but I will reorder to a different size.

The Addiction 14 is lighter than the Addiction 13 but I feel it has less stability, less motion control, and less cushioning. For someone like me with multiple foot/ankle problems, I prefer extra stability, motion control, and cushioning over the lighter weight.
