Larger toe box than the glycerin and my orthotics rest in the right place.

I like this model quite well. Purchased these based on reviews, width and the roomy toe box. I over pronate and am testing these at home and outside, so far so good. I ordered the 11.5 Wide and these feel as comparable to my Saucony Excursion TR in same size. The laces feel a bit short which is my only negative remark. Looking forward to trail walking them at Memorial Park very soon.

I don't run, but I do wear them at the gym and everyday use. Best I've ever owned.

I've worn every model of the beast since the Beast '10. The new update with guide rails was fine, but they didn't feel the same way the used to. I tried the Addiction and it was a much better fit. Slightly less plush feeling than the beast, but helped me keep a similar stride with great support.

I work on my feet 12 hour shifts all night long. I love these sneakers. The fit is great the color is great even the comfort is perfect! The last three pair I ordered I wore out. Now I have tried the addiction and I think this is the perfect pair for me! Each kind I tried was better than the last! I think the quiz that you asked online to help me choose the correct pair was perfect for me! Thank you so much my feet and back Owe you a million !

I have found this shoe more comfortable than the Brook's Beast I've been wearing for years. This shoe also reduces my Achilles heal pain that the Brook's Beast didn't do.

First, I should come out and say I'm not a runner at all. However, I am a weekend warrior with activities. My family let me know about their great experience with Brooks Footwear and their ability to work during long days on your feet. After reviews from the Brooks website (and other review pages), I decided to give the new Addiction 14 a shot... ...AND IM SO GLAD I DID! This is my 2nd pair of Brooks, and I've found that they all do have a slight break-in period. However, once that's done, they feel so incredibly comfortable. I'm a desk worker, but do a lot of up and around projects when done. These shoes have removed a tremendous amount of pain from my feet that I had when on my feet for more than 2 hrs. The level of cushion is superb for an all-day walker/worker/runner. I can't recommend these enough!

lightweight and stable... very similar to the Beast

I?m not a runner, wear my Brooks Addiction 14?s for every day wear, on my stationary bike, treadmill, and while walking for exercise. At this point in time I can?t tell the difference between the Addiction 14?s and the Brooks Beast, except for the price. I began wearing Brooks shoes on the advice of my physician years ago for relief from plantar fasciitis. I can?t say for certain that they were the cure but I haven?t had any issues since switching to Brooks. I wear a 4E, and while comfortable a little more room in the toe box would be appreciated.

Not a runner but just a retired senior, use for everyday, very comfortable as I have extra wide feet(4E)
